Can i use it on painted rocks

I use a minimum of 2 coates on my painted rocks with great success. No sanding between coats on this project.

Is this waterproof? I’m looking for a waterproof gloss coating for homemade coasters

Absolutely 100% waterproof. I usually use 2 to 3 Coats.

Will this work on Resin?

I've never personally used it on resin, but it works wonderfully on plastics and other materials.

Description says polyurethane. But isn't this water based? Poly is oil based. I want a totally matte, waterproof coating for on top of acrylic paints

This will do what you are looking for. I have another brand of varnish and it also says it’s a water based polyurethane to be used over acrylic paints. I have used different brands of this product for many years without any problem. I recommend 3 coats, drying well in between, and read any directions on the bottle. I’ve had as many years using these water based varnishes as they’ve been around. Hope this helps.

Won't use anything else, great for outdoor use.

Great product, easy to use. Bushes easy to clean afterwards. I use on my painted pots and stones that are also suitable for outside use this is the main reason for choosing this product. Wont use anything else. Great to not have pots of smelly white spirit about to clean bushes off in.

Absolute steal.

Not good

This product is really terrible, Does not do the job at all. Won't recommend and asked a refund. However the same brand does the GLOSSY version and I am very happy with it. Bought 2 bottle already .Shame they can't get same quality with the Mat version .....
