Tojiro INOX Kitchen Shears (FG-3500)

Big Tojiro fan already and this was a welcome addition to the collection. Great product and good price.

Great pair of scissors, really sharp! Very nice shape and ergonomical design. Actually bought these as a gift so havnt used them much myself but recipient was extremely pleased and say they fantastic. Took a long time to turn up but was expected to be as came from overseas.

Good robust quality. The real stuff, which will last. Would recommend.

Got a pair of these imported from Japan. The black paint is gloss. Item as described but these scissors are high quality. When you close the blades, the close very smoothly and you can tell the difference between these a set from a poundshop i.e. the blades are perfectly adjusted and don't feel loose when you close and open them, the tension is just right.Out of the box sharpness was very good and it wasn't greasy but I coated these with Japanese Camellia oil to prevent any chance of rust.

Great scissors but went rusty after a year

I have never thought much about kitchen shears, and have always used cheap ones until I bought these. I'm very impressed with how sharp they are and how easily they cut. These are my go-to tool now for opening about anything when I'm near the kitchen. I just have to be careful not to let anyone else in the house wonder off with them and misplace them! I know there are higher-end shears, but in the end I am not a professional chef, so I don't need to spend the extra money for a few extra features. I have little doubt the high-end Tojiro shears would impress me even more.

so, so, sharp! but these shears are quite large, think large tailoring shears large, so it may make things a little bit cumbersome when splaying a chicken. Overall I'm extremely happy with these shears, the only advantage I see the 'premium' version having is that the shears are separable to make for better cleaning, however that isn't cause to charge over double the price, compared with these.
