Q: What is the maximum thickness of table that these clips will accomodate? Mine is 50mm and with rounded edges.

Hello,The depth of the clip is 50mm exactly but you also need to take into account the metal clip part which grips the table underneath. My table is only 38mm deep so it fit in that respect - the problem was the clearance for the metal part underneath (adjacent to the leaf pattern). This is 55mm in length and my table has supporting beams about 45mm underneath the table edges so the clip wouldn't sit flush to the table!! I don't think you would have enough Leigh way if your table is 50mm thick. Shame because they are very pretty!!

The clips will fit to any table with up to about 2" thickness, if it is more than 2" it is a bit difficult to stay put and starts moving about.

They are used for holding table cloths to the table in windy conditions. ...... They work very well in clipping anti-pigeon spikes to a window sill !
