I am basically not interested in killing rats. So, I tried all means of how the rats can be caught alive. But, nothing was effective. Rats are more intelligent nowadays. Rats finally started disturbing rice bags, started pushing beloved idols in Pooja room. We have a child at home and with no other way, as a defensive approach, I had to go with this option. I ordered 4 pieces and the same night it arrived, it caught 4 rats with 100% efficiency. Only caution is, take care of your fingers while setting the trap. Ensure the bait is smelly. I used banana chips and one badam in each. The rats die, hence ensure to dispose safely before the infections spread at home. Though I am not interested in killing, the machine does it's job that it is meant for. So, have given 5 star rating.

Only once a rat was caught and no rats are caught for a long time. I setup two set in a row but both are eaten up without any results. Bad product. Go for sticking trap or cage trap for small rats. Don't waste money in this one. It may be good for big rats. My rat is very happy with the product. It eats from the trap and drinks water.

I recommend to buy this product and it is perfect for preventing rats.....

The wooden traps are more effective then this.....So far only (in 10 days) 1 rat caught. other had wooden trap caught 5 rats.

Product n price is best. Quality best. Be alert during placing, becuse it have safety issues. Keep distance from children. Apperance is ok. Easy to use. But it kills rat so if you are ok with it then it is best for you.

Very disappointed. I kept all the machines with dogfood pellets as the bait. Rats came ate all the pellets and left leaving the trigger in tact. Please fine tune the trigger to serve the purpose. Of course when I tested one machine on delivery even a straw activated the trigger. It appears that small rats can eat the bait without disturbing the trigger plate as the gap is wide between the plate and the bait.

It is not well designed to catch rats. The handle to catch the rats has a plastic coating and hence slippery. So even it the rat gets caught, it can easily slips away. Next the pad on which the rat steps is too large. Means if the rat steps on it and the trap closes, it can easily slips out. The trap closes but without catching any rats.
