Zinsser 00904 B-I-N Pigmented Shellac Primer-Sealer & Stain Killer, White, 1 Quart

I love this stuff for refinishing furniture etc. Dries quickly, nice coverage, sands well. Denatured alcohol or lamp oil does a good clean up if you get a little messy. But best to use cheap dollar store brushes that you keep wrapped air tight between and chuck after.

This is the best primer to use on anything you really need to seal to prevent any bleed through! I used this on my knotty pine cabinets in the kitchen before painting and it worked amazing! Only thing is it is a STRONG smell, so be sure to use a painting mask and use this product outside if possible!

I had red dresser drawers - wood with a laminate finish. I wanted to paint them a pale green. This primer did the trick. I am so happy with the outcome. The product is a bit pricy but worth it because it does what it is supposed to do.

Four star s because I wish it was cheaper.
