Housewares Stoneware Mortar and Pestle - White,H7 x W12.50 x D12.50cm

I brought this for my mum for her birtthday, and I think it's a brilliant little gift. It's a cheap price, and it came exactly when it was stated to. The packaging was superb, because this product would be quite susceptible to breaking if dropped, amazon did a great job with the packaging. It was all fine, no chips or breakages. It works just as you would expect, put your herbs in the bowl, and crush them. It doesn't take a lot of force so it's nice and easy, and it's much more sufficient than trying to crush it on a board with a knife for example. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves working in the kitchen, and it's a great little piece of equipment, 5 out of 5.

Good product, but has a small mark in the bowl part, is usable.

Feeling good as purchased this after trying in vain to source just a pestle (impossible), which had dropped onto tiles and broken. This is a nice set, and a reasonable size, at a pretty good price.

Beautiful set that goes very well in my kitchen. Does the job well and is great quality. Do note that if you use many spices in this, it can be stained and difficult to clean.

I was very pleased with this pestle and mortar set - very compact and sturdy. Probably wouldn't suit someone who wants to do a large quantity, but for single/two person quantities this is ideal. Nicely boxed, so can be given as a gift if needs be. Easy to clean and not too large to keep out on the kitchen units. Excellent quality and proving to be a good buy.

A me non serviva un mortaio per cucinare, ma per togliere i grumi dal fondotinta in polvere che faccio in casa: il mortaio è capiente e il rivestimento esterno è liscio, mentre la parte interna e la punta del pestello sono proprio grezzi, ceramica pura, quindi la polvere si attacca e staccarla diventa complicato. Non dovrebbero esserci problemi, invece, con le spezie tipo il pepe. Certo è che se uno vuole fare il pesto o passare al mortaio erbe fresche, si macchierà di verde sicuramente...per quello che devo fare io, alla fine ha un buon rapporto qualità prezzo!
