I have used many interior and exterior dressings over the last 30 years and I'm pleased with the PoorBoys Trim Restorer Interior & Exterior Dressing 473ml, the trim restorer dressing is a clear liquid that is thick in consistency with the wonderful smell of coconut, I found a foam applicator is good for applying as a little goes a long way, start with the interior first then door trims exterior, by this time the sponge is well soaked making it ideal for giving the door rubbers a good coating offering good protection from drying out and cracking and giving a good dark finish, when appling it leaves a gloss finish and then turning to a saturn finish when dry no runs a bit patchy but just wipe over again and all good, can be used on any coulor dash as it's clear and uneven surfaces. The only problem I had was that after undoing the lid cap, upon tightining the cap didn't do up tight allowing to leak if stood on it's side or at an angle. I will be recommending this to my son who is a very keen car detailer and to anyone else you is looking for a good quality Trim Restorer Interior & Exterior Dressing. Bought this due to reviews and YT videos. Let me start my saying I am a perfectionist and this stuff is really good. The product is non-silicone non-greasy and smells of a subtle coconut scent. I was weary about applying it at first - I have not done this kind of dashboard detailing since the late 80s with "Silicone Trim Sheen". The method is simple - take your time. Apply a small dab or two to a microfibre cloth and apply evenly. A little bit goes a long way. Then buff off with a clean microfibre cloth. The results are amazing. Not one bit of greasy feeling anywhere, whether on dashboard, plastic door trim or leather seat material. The car interior looks new.

Smells lovely and looks instantly fab, however after a few days it all looked like it needed another wipe over. We have just bought a 17 year old Z4 which was in need of all the black trim on the grill, side mirrors and interior to be restored back to black, perhaps due to our cars age it’s requiring a few initial wipes over and hopefully it will then stay a consistency shade of black

Goes on easily I recommend using a sponge and only use a little bit at a time. My car is close to 20 years old and the all the dash interior looks new. Don't worry if you use too much it does spread out, also the foamy look when applying does go away with no streaks. I left the product on overnight to give it time to work, then polished off. It did need a second coat.

Good product

PoorBoys products are very good, you pay for what you get. A little goes a long way with this product. I used it to restore all the black trim on my car which was going grey. Came up like new. Just put some on a cloth and wipe in. Leave for a while, if it looks patchy go over it again to get a good even finish. Wait 10 minutes and buff lightly until it all looks even. PoorBoy say this will not streak which you will get using sprays and it means you can apply it without waste / overspray. The finish seems to last well, I reckon to reapply in a couple of months. This means the bottle will last around a year at this rate. Good value in my book, ideal for older cars as well as newer.

I bought this specifically for the kickplates of my taxi, customers regularly catch it with mucky shoes. Interior cleaner removes the dirt but this dressing makes it look brand new and using a sponge or microfibre applicator it lasts for ages. I now do my dash and all interior plastics with it. It leaves a lovely coconut smell into the bargain.

Takes about three applications for black plastic trim to lose that grey look and return to black. I like this product because it cleans the plastic to restore the original color. Other trim restorers simply stain the plastic back to black, which can be messy and the finish can look uneven. Good value for money too, as the bottle goes a long way. I found the best way to apply the product was to cut a foam sponge to size and shape to get around awkward shapes and recesses. This also avoids getting the product on paintwork. Overall, very pleased with the results.

formidabile per ridonare lucentezze alle parti in plastica esterne dell'automobile sbiadite dal sole (ad es. fascioni paraurti o sgocciolatoio sotto parabrezza) dona una colorazione naturale, come nuova, senza ungere. bisogna usare pochissimo prodotto quindi il flacone da quasi mezzo litro, durerà moltissimo. è consigliato applicarlo con un pennello in schiuma (da decoupage). io lo uso e riesco ad applicarlo con precisione, senza sbavature, anche grazie alla formula gel. in ogni caso se finisce sulla carrozzeria non produce danni, basta strofinarlo via. lasciare agire il prodotto quanto più possibile poi rimuovere l'eccesso e lucidare con panno in cotone (non microfibra altrimenti lascerebbe pelucchi). l'ho provato anche sulle guarnizioni in gomma ai lati dei finestrini ma ha creato qualche piccola macchia, che tuttavia stanno scomparendo (sulle guarnizioni fare prima dei test in zone non visibili). Per tutte le parti in plastica è eccezionale, super consigliato.

Decent product, not as amazing as you would think it is. Gives rich black colour to plastics, but gets dimmer quickly. If you apply every week, it will be awesome. Seeing the durability of the application, I was a little underwhelmed. But this is not to say the product is bad - it does its job. I apply it only once in a month and it has already lasted more than six months, with just less than 10% used. It does not make the surface oily. It has a pleasant smell too. Definitely worth an exploration.
