Love this, looks great in the tank and easy to clean. Great colour and decent bag size

I bought 4 bags and weighed them all — each one had more than 2kg, which was a pleasant surprise. The pebbles are truly black even when dry (unlike many others sold as “black” that only look dark when wet). They’re clean, smooth, and absolutely perfect. I used 3 bags to cover a 50cm diameter plant pot with a layer thick enough to look beautiful and prevent weeds, but not so thick that it would harm the plant. I did a lot of research before choosing these, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Excellent quality and fantastic price-satisfaction ratio. Highly recommended!

I can't give this product 5 stars as it claims to be for use in an aquarium and I can't say whether it's suitable for this or not from my experience. I bought circular planters as a wall decoration and these stones were used to fill the inner glass up. This required 2 bags of stones but the stone sizes were perfect for what I was after and I really liked the range of colours and shapes. They've been a lovely addition to my bathroom wall and I'd recommend these stones to anyone looking for a similar reason. (My pictures include what the planters looked like with 1 bag in and then when the 2nd was added)

I recently took on a ghecko and needed to clean the vivarium out entirely then redesign it to how I thought it should look. These natural stones really gave the design a good finish and whilst they say for aquariums on the pack , they are actually ideal for vivariums too. You get a great amount of prewashed Stones of various sizes and colors which when scattered loosely on desert sand , finish of as natural habitat a ghecko could want. Definitely worth buying for a vivarium if you have a lizard of any kind.

I use this in my terrariums as well as outside in a fairy garden. Really good material and excellent value.

I was a little hesitant about buying these stones after seeing so many poor reviews. I assumed people were being dramatic, but they really aren't; these pebbles are incredibly difficult to clean. They seem to be coated with some sort of wax or oil which makes them hydrophobic. This makes it extremely hard to clean the stones without brushing them individually. For reference, I rinsed the pebbles in small groups 3 times, along with leaving them to sit in water from the kettle for half an hour between each rinse. I gave up trying to clean them after the final rinse was still leaving oily stains in my sink. The stones are attractive (though they're not all black), but I wouldn't feel confident having them in the water in my crab tank. I'm going to use the pebbles in plant pots and I'm sure they'll look great, hence the 3-star review. If I were the seller/manufacturer, I'd probably relabel these stones to be used for planting, rather than as aquarium stones.
