Does The Job.
Please ignore my 2 star review about not being able to attach the hose to the pressure washer. I have just realised that for the last 2 hours I was trying to unscrew to inlet cap the wrong way (there must be a village missing its idiot). I have now got it all connected up correctly and everything is working perfectly fine.

Great addition to the K4
Bought the Karcher K4 specifically so that I could use this suction tube to use collected water from butts. I was nervous, as I'd read reviews suggesting it was difficult to get working and one review saying that it wouldn't provide enough power to clean paving and pathways. I'm glad to say that there was no need to be nervous. Once I'd primed the tube (thanks to some reviewers for highlighting this) it worked beautifully. I cleaned a path along the side of our garage which was caked in mud, moss and algae built up over many years using rainwater from a trug (or plaster's bucket). It worked perfectly. It took a couple of hours and I used about a hundred litres of rainwater but really chuffed with it's performance. Only gave it 4 stars as the tube is desperate to stay coiled so is a little difficult to handle and the device supplied to stop the tube from flipping out of your bucket is truly pathetic!

If you have half a brain, it's worth every penny.
This is a very expensive piece of pipe but it does in fact need that non return valve to make it work sufficiently. I struggle to see and also struggle to deal with the amount of "special" people on these reviews. I mean come on people? It's common sense that for a pipe to flow water it must not have any air in the pipe. But the Karcher pressure washer pretty much self primes. I literally filled the pipe with water attached the end to the pressure washer (without loosing water) and then placed the valve end into the water butt. Then two pulls of the trigger and bam it had full pressure!! Completely free water and it's works soo well!! After a while of using it from (Unfilteted) rainwater the water pressure dropped. It was the internal filter in the pressure washer, this is the only downside, but again this is user error. So please if you have half a brain and are probably somebody that doesn't pen push during the day do indeed buy this item because I'm sure you will manage this!

Compatibility with K3?
This was received in its retail box and looks ok (hence 5 stars) although not yet used because I am unsure if this really is compatible with the K3. The Amazon listing indicates that it is but in the same listing the manufacture's comments state compatibility with K4 - K7. The retail box states it is for use with K2 battery, K4, K5 and K7. Internet searches on this (including Karcher) for the SH5 (2.643-100.0) offer different advice on product compatibility. I guess the answer will be when it is used!

Not really suitable for K3
It would be a great item, but the Amazon product information said it fitted my pressure washer a Karcher K3. On receiving the box it was suitable for K2 battery, K4-K7. I checked with Karcher and it is definitely not suitable for a K3, you would need a gravity fed water supply to use this hose.

If you are having trouble priming/suction READ THIS to help you out!
1st off i'll explain my situation in needing to use this suction hose!. My car is away from my house so i have to use a VERY LONG extension lead to power my Karcher K4 pressure washer and i cant really use a hose connected to my outside tap because of the length!. Hence the reason for buying this suction hose, so i can use a bucket or BIG jerry can bottle(yet to buy!). Anyway after getting this item through the post i have had a absolute nightmare trying to get this hose to work. I have read that just put the filter end in the water and it will suck it up, IT WILL NOT do that!, i have tried!!!!. I then "primed" the hose full of water, but yet again it WILL NOT suck any water through the pipe. Even just letting run for a minute as others have said still does not do anything. In fact earlier on trying to do this my pressure washer got so hot it shut down and wouldn't start for a good 10 minutes(the machine is water cooled!). This is what i figured out that works 100% every time i do it!. The main reason this WILL NOT prime properly is the filter on the end is restricting the flow of the water!. IMO to start off the machine needs maximum water flow to enter the pump to then build up pressure which in turn starts the "sucking" process!. What i do is.................... 1. Take off the filter on the end of the hose(give a small twist and it comes of easy) 2. Place all the hose in the water to prime it as normal 3. Wait for the hose to fill with water, as seen by the air bubbles escaping(Because the filter is off, the water flow in the hose is A LOT better) 4. When done connect to the machine 5. Turn on and press the trigger on the gun 6. Again because the filter is off you will see the water being sucked into the machine faster and it will build up pressure 7. Reattach the filter and you are good to go! I tried this 5 times in a row and EVERY time it worked for me 100% If you plan to use this method in a water butt i would suggest priming the hose in a bucket of clean water first, then after you reattach the filter you can then put it in the water butt. I think once the machine has sucked water and built up pressure you should be able to move the hose into another water source! Anyway there you go. I've gone from hating it, to loving it, once i sussed it out lol 5 STARS EDIT, 20/01/2019 - Used the suction hose for the 1st time cleaning the car with the aid of a 30L plasterers bucket i got from B&Q and it worked like a charm!. In all i filled up the bucket 3 times(1 for doing the snow foam, 2nd for rinsing the snow foam off, then the 3rd for rinsing the car shampoo off). Just make sure the water doesn't run out of the hose before re-filling your bucket as you will have to prime it again!

price is too high, but good quality product.

La manguera parece funcionar bien y se ve de buena calidad, personalmente no la recomiendo para una k2 ya que forza mucho el motor y huele a quemado, supongo que para los modelos k3 en adelante debe de funcionar mejor
