The taste is quite nice
The taste is quite different than the kimchi bought in an Asian oriental store but I really like the this.

More carrots than kimchi
I bought this because the supermarket had sold out of kimchi and I was desperate for some. Because Kimchi is lovely. But I have never been as unimpressed with a food item before as I am with this. So, all of the kimchi that I've ever bought has only ever had kimchi in it. Fermented Nappa cabbage. That's all. I have never bought any with carrot in it. I didn't realise there was carrot inside until it arrived. My initial reaction was to, of course, give it a try. First time for everything, right? There was virtually next to no kimchi. I had to sift through a whole load of carrots just to get one tiny little nibbly bit of kimchi. The flavour isn't too great either. There is a LOT of ginger in this. My mum tried to be optimistic. "Maybe we should fry it a little and see how it tastes after that?" As expected, it tastes the same. If you like carrots and a lot of ginger then this is for you. But this just isn't it for me. It's just a shame I still have 5 and a half jars to go through. Packaging was great though! That's one positive thing about it.

Tasty enough nice with soups
The taste is unlike kimchi I’ve tried before , it is however pleasant enough and I ate the 6 jars one per week, adding to salads soups etc . The reason I bought the kimchi was because I am trying to improve gut health by eating food with live cultures , however after I bought it and reading reviews I believe this has been pasteurised which I think means the live cultures would have been killed in this process . I would not buy it again due to this especially as I have found other options which are described as raw and unpasteurised

Always compare the price!!!!
I’m a big fan of Biona products. Was going to purchase on their website, but just so happened to have a look on Amazon and it was a bit cheaper. With my prime membership, delivery was free the next day. Win win situation, I get the product for cheaper and quicker! It does taste good, vinegar smell was a bit weird at first but pair it with something decent and it’ll go down well. I was introduced to it for the healthy gut benefits. Might try my hand at making some homemade kimchi to cut costs. Here goes YouTube university.

Weird
I regularly have this product from my local organic shop, and this was the second time I ordered it through here. The multipack is worth its price as it makes it nearly half the price as in my local shop, however the first time it came it was nearly half just fermented liquid, barely any vegetables. The second time it was the same as if I bought it in the shop, hence the three stars. For taste it tastes really good, my stomach feels a lot better from it as it helps the guts work. There was no leakage and it was packaged really well with bubble wrap around it

Well balanced
Contains chilli, but not too much. A reliable product. Others I’ve tried are variable, and can be eye-wateringly hot

Very good. Has a bit of chilli kick but great taste.
I don't know why asked warmth in review so gave it a 3. Assumed heat of chilli? It's my fast time eating Kimchi so I was worried it would taste bad but was very surprised it was very good so just ate mine straight from the jar. I bought it as because I can't eat dairy and need something fermented in my diet....this doesn't taste or look like anything fermented so I guess it's all the additional stuff and flavour it it. I will hopefully buy some more.
