Q: Hi How long can I keep in the fridge once it has been decanted into a glass jar.

It's pickled therefore preserved but I'm sure the packet would have a date stamp

Q: How quickly did the bags explode from receiving them or how soon in days will I need to open the bag to stop the bang

I would recommend opening the bag straight away and transferring in the kimchi into a glass jar or Tupperware (If you don't want your fridge to smell of kimchi then glass jar is better) Once it's in an appropriate container you can use until the expiry date. Open the jar every now and then to let the air out and push down on the kimchi with a spoon. You will see bubbles rise to the surface of the brine as you push down. This is the gas that causes the bags to expand and is perfectly normal.

Q: Is this vegetarian or does it contain fish?

It doesn’t state suitable for vegetarians, so it will be made with fermented anchovy sauce and salted shrimp sauce. So it is not suitable for vegetarians

Q: Is this Kimchi pateurised or is it raw?

I know to create kimchi its fermented now once packaged they may well pasteurize then but I can't say as I only bought it & ate in & enjoyed it too. Maybe ask someone in a Korean shop.
