but this stands out as the best speaker I've ever owned
I've had mine for just under a year now and can't praise it highly enough. I've had so many speakers, so many different kinds too, but this stands out as the best speaker I've ever owned. All the good points made already in the reviews are, in my opinion, absolutely correct. So I can't really say much that hasn't already been said. The only thing that's worth noting is that the Naim really comes into its own when it is streaming well recorded music. I use it with Spotify and my own vast music collection. The Naim doesn't have an equaliser but you can fix that by playing about with the equalisers on your devices or Apps. Really makes a difference. And if you're listening to Radio through it, find a station with a 320 kb bitrate. My partner listens to classical music every morning through the Naim. He used to listen to Classic FM but I changed it to a A very similar German radio station with the aforementioned bitrate. The sound quality is vastly different. Matters not that you can't understand what the presenters are saying, Indeed, that's a big plus for me. Anyway, the Naim is expensive but worth every penny.

Good unit but let down by lack of instructions
My initial reaction to this system was very negative. The sound seemed OK but I could not see how on earth one was supposed to stream from the internet through the unit. It served me as a quite good speaker - but certainly not worth the money. Then I got a friend who is something of an expert in computers and electronics to look at things and he got it working with Spotify Connect and radio stations. The sound, once it Is connected to the internet, is excellent. The problem is that you need to be something of an expert to figure out how to use it. Instructions are minimal and unhelpful. However, if you persevere and if you know what you are doing (or have a friend who knows what they are doing) it is well worth the money. To sum up, you need someone who knows how these things work in order to benefit from the purchase. Given that, I find it an excellent buy.

Wireless barely works
We have this but barely use it as the app which is the mainstay for playing music wirelessly barely works. A simple Bluetooth connection takes 20 minutes of messing around and is spotty at best. Many other Bluetooth devices work easy with my phone but for this piece of junk you can forget it. Waste of money.

Amazing sound but...
Anyone looking for plug and play music please don’t bother. My Mu-so takes 10-20 minutes to set up each time I use it. (I have a QB as well which is always ready to go unlike the Mu-so.) I could use Bluetooth which works instantly but why have a premium music player to listen to compressed sound? Once the Mu-so is up and running the sound is amazing especially when using lossless streaming sites like Tidal. If I saw my time again I would buy another QB and ditch the Mu-so. It really is not up to the job unless you have a wired connection. Update: I wrote this review 40 minutes ago and am still trying to connect to my Naim Mu-so. Naim will blame the ISP yet I have Virgin Media’s top broadband package at 350mbps - super fast broadband. Probably the worst piece of tech I’ve bought since the very early iPods.. I am now playing music on my iphone since the Naim just isn’t in the mood for it this evening (again)

Anyone that appreciates their music Naim Muso is the way forward!
Excellent service and productArrived within a few days of ordering. First time to buy a Naim product and so far i am really impressed. A fantastic speaker for anyone that likes their music. Easy to set up and use . The sound is fantastic from the Muso. Tidal software is the way to go as you can play 24 bit from some of the library of 60 million songs ( as music should be heard ) 5 stars from me.

Great but cheaper elsewhere
I recently purchased the mu-so and i've been very happy with it. It is available cheaper in a hifi dealer or an apple store (£895) compared to the price advertised here. It's great for a small apartment or small living room compared to a separates system. Things I don't like - no phono (RCA) input, no headphone socket, the naim app (terrible user interface design). Strongly recommended.

After much research I purchase a Naim Mu-So. To be fair it is a great system, fantastic sound and looks awesome in your home. The issue has been static shocks from the unit which resulted in me returning it. Further research revealed this isn't an isolated issue which was disappointing. More disappointing was Naim's response of 'move it to a different room, and 'it is the user....'. I would exercise caution on purchasing this, it is a very expensive product and poor underlying customer service from Naim.
