Victorinox Handyman Swiss Army Pocket Knife, Medium, Multi Tool, 24 Functions, Large Blade, Metal Saw

I got the 'Handyman' model, so this review is for that. It's Red in colour. It was bought as a Christmas gift for my friend🎄 He attached it to his keys. How can anyone not want one of these? A wonderful design, they're excellent quality knives, and made from very good steel. I have a smaller model myself, this model features lots of tools including two very sharp blades, a screwdriver, scissors, and even pliers! A very useful knife that can last for many years.

I have always wanted a Swiss army knife! This is my first one and I love it! The quality and finish is amazing! A brilliant well made choice for my first Swiss Army Knife! It has all the things I want and none of the things I don't want. The quality is amazing and its reassuring weight only adds to this. It is one of the thicker Victorinox models, but is still comfortable to hold, which is helped by my large hands. I was originally going to go for the Camper for whittling and camping use, as it has blades and a wood saw, but I decided I wanted the file as well for use on woods and plastics. I heard that Victorinox scissors are amazing so I decided that is something I also wanted (I have tested these and they are amazing). I also thought the small pliers would be a good addition to be use as needle nose pliers on smaller tasks. I am very happy with the decision I made! I would recommend this particular model for someone who wants to have a lots of feature for tinkering in a package that is not overwhelmingly large or uncomfortable.

A huge number of tools. The saws and pliers on the Handyman are nice additions compared to the smaller knives like the Climber, without making it too wide or heavy. It's still comfortable in your hand or your pocket. Everything opens easily and smoothly. Victorinox quality is great.

The first time I've ever owned a Swiss army knife, although I've long considered buying one. I primarily bought this one for the bottle opener! I often find myself in some self-service cafe where they insist on opening your bottle of water or coke at the till. Then they expect you to balance the bottle upright on your tray until you find a seat. Far easier, I thought, to find a seat first and then open the bottle with my new Swiss army knife. I've taken the liberty of copying the list of features from the full product description. It is a pity there is no such list with the knife, as it would have been useful for someone like me who was never a boy scout. List copied as follows: Large & Small Blade - Corkscrew - Cap Opener with Small Screwdriver - Bottle Opener with large Screwdriver and Wire Stripper - Chisel - Reamer - Punch and Sewing Eye - Nail File with Metal File - Key Ring - Nail Cleaner - Tweezers - Metal Saw- Toothpick - Fine Screwdriver - Scissors - Pliers with Wire Cutter - Multipurpose Hook - Wood Saw. With the knife are instructions on how to free up stuck blades, and how to use the can opener. Also the locations of the cap lifter, screwdriver, wire-bender and wire -stripper are given. Finally there is a little reminder not to overlook the tweezers and toothpick which pull out quite neatly from the keyring end of the knife. Having looked at the range of Victorinox Army knives on Amazon I would say this is probably one of the best on offer without paying silly money. You could pay another tenner for the Army Knife Champ which would be useful for anglers, for example. But this one here is fine for me. Otherwise there are a few that are cheaper but most others I've seen are a lot dearer. The one slight disappointment is that with the scissors and pliers attachments there are thin metal tensioners that seem to break very easily. It hasn't made much difference to the pliers, but the scissors have gone a bit floppy. But for that I'd have given this 5 stars. The Victorinox Leather Pouch - 5-8 Layer, Black, is an excellent accessory to buy and it fits this knife like a glove.

Exceptional service from Amazon.sa! As for the product itself, it’s original, Swiss-made, and boasts 24 functions, making it incredibly versatile. The quality is superb, exactly what you'd expect from Victorinox. It feels solid in hand and perfect for everyday tasks or outdoor activities. The price is great for such a premium item, even though I have no enough knowledge about the prices on stores, but knowing it’s authentic makes this purchase satisfying. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable multi-function pocket knife. 5/5 – Great value, fast shipping, and quality craftsmanship!

Es ist weniger ein minimalistisches EDC für die unauffällige Hosentasche, sondern klar als vollwertiges Multitool für Alltag, Haushalt, Hobby und unterwegs gedacht. Wer viele Werkzeuge in einem kompakten, aber noch tragbaren Format sucht, bekommt hier genau das. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist auf dem gewohnt hohen Victorinox-Niveau. Alle Werkzeuge sind sauber gefertigt, nichts wackelt, nichts fühlt sich scharfkantig oder billig an. Die Klingen und Tools lassen sich präzise ausklappen, sitzen fest und vermitteln Vertrauen. Auch nach häufiger Nutzung bleibt alles leichtgängig, ohne dabei an Stabilität zu verlieren. Genau diese Zuverlässigkeit ist einer der Hauptgründe, warum man bei Victorinox fast blind zugreifen kann. Mit seinen 24 Funktionen ist das Handyman sehr umfangreich ausgestattet. Neben der großen und kleinen Klinge sind unter anderem Holzsäge, Metallfeile, Schere, Schraubendreher in verschiedenen Größen, Korkenzieher und weitere klassische Victorinox-Werkzeuge an Bord. Besonders praktisch ist die Kombination aus Feile und Säge, die das Messer auch für handwerklichere Aufgaben nutzbar macht, bei denen kleinere Modelle schnell an ihre Grenzen stoßen. Der größte Nachteil – gleichzeitig aber auch die logische Konsequenz des Funktionsumfangs – ist die Größe. Für ein klassisches EDC in der engen Jeanshosentasche ist das Handyman spürbar groß und schwer. Es geht zwar noch, man merkt es aber deutlich. In einer Jackentasche, einem Rucksack, einer Arbeitstasche oder im Auto fühlt es sich deutlich besser aufgehoben an. Wer ein ultraleichtes Immer-dabei-Messer sucht, sollte eher zu einem kleineren Modell greifen. Dafür bekommt man im Gegenzug ein extrem vielseitiges Werkzeug, das viele Situationen abdeckt, in denen ein einfaches Taschenmesser nicht mehr ausreicht. Gerade auf Reisen, beim Camping, im Haushalt oder für kleinere Reparaturen ist das Handyman ein zuverlässiger Begleiter, bei dem man selten denkt: „Jetzt fehlt mir noch Werkzeug X.“ Preislich liegt es im oberen Bereich der Victorinox-Taschenmesser, wirkt angesichts der Anzahl an Werkzeugen, der Qualität und der zu erwartenden Lebensdauer aber absolut gerechtfertigt. Das Handyman ist kein Spielzeug und kein Lifestyle-Gadget, sondern ein ehrliches, sehr gut gemachtes Multitool. Für alle, die bewusst etwas mehr Größe akzeptieren, um dafür deutlich mehr Möglichkeiten zu haben, ist es eine sehr überzeugende Wahl.

キャンパー・ハントマンPDと持っていて、今回もっと機能数の多いのもと思い、このハンディマンを購入しました。スイスチャンプになると、多機能は良いのですが、私個人的には使わないだろうツールも増えるので、多機能の中でも欲しいツールが多く揃っている、このハンディマンがちょうどいいとの購入でした。 ツールの質は勿論、ハントマンPDなどで分かっている通り、とても良いです。色んなツールが沢山あるので、ハンディマンまであれば、大抵の事はこなせると思います。 ただ個人的に1つだけ惜しい！と想うのは、コルク抜き。このハンディマンでコルク抜きが、ハントマンPDの様にプラスドライバーなら、最高のツールではないかと思います。 キャンパーもトラベラーもハントマンも「PD仕様」があるので、ハンディマンもPDがあれば、最高なんですが。 しかしこのハンディマン、満足しています。 （私は女性ですが、工具や道具を主に使いながらの手作業の電機組み立て工場で長く働いていたのもあり、こういった便利なツールは、プライベートでもイザって時に持っていたいと思う方なので、ハンディマンのハンドルのサイズも重さも気になりません。災害用にも持っていて越した事はないので、購入しています）。 3つのビクトリノックス、大事に使っていきます。 ――――追記―――― たまたまビクトリノックスの店舗が入ったデパートに行く用があり、ビクトリノックスに寄って色々見ていたら、コルク抜きにねじ込むメガネドライバーを見つけ、私は普段からメガネをかけているので、このハンディマンのコルク抜きに付けようと、購入しました。 自分のメガネのネジに合う大きさだったので、ちょうど良かったです。メガネのネジが緩んだ時の応急処置にはなります。 メガネの専用ドライバーは持っていますが、何よりお気に入りのハンディマンのコルク抜きが、不要なツールでなく、メガネドライバーのホルダー的な機能になった事が満足です。
