I fell off a wall (dont ask !) and damaged the soft tissue in my foot. Minor Injuries advised icing every couple of hours, but to try and walk gently but normally: using compression.Need to be able to do this anyway as my Springer Spaniel needed his daily walks !Saw these at a good price with next day delivery for Prime Members so gave them a go (bought 2 so could wash one and wear other).I am a female UK size 5, with slightly wide feet (E fit) and having read some of the Q&As bought a medium.They were a very tight/snug fit ( as they need to be), without cutting off the circulation at the ankles.As soon as I had them on, walking was easier and a bit less painful. They provided excellent support and were comfortable to leave on all day (need to remove at night).Also, leaving them on when icing my foot gave protection against ice damage to skin.Much better value than the high street chemist.

This support is well made, and the 'feel' of the material very comfortable. It offers excellent support around the ankle, is unobtrusive (I chose the product in beige), it fits comfortably under a sock in a shoe, and does all I wanted it to do.I was initially unsure about the fit of the top band around my leg. My ankle measures 24 cm., and I ordered the 'large' size thinking this would be more than adequate. On initial use the fit round the foot, and ankle was perfect, but the elasticated top of the support around my leg was too right for comfort, leaving my leg ridged and sore.This situation has eased some with use so perhaps the initial problem will disappear in time.Happy with the purchase.

Already familiar with the Neo G range of supports through having successfully tried out a wraparound calf support following a recent riding accident I decided to give the Airflow ankle support a go to help with a long-standing ankle weakness caused by slight leg length discrepancy. Owning several dogs means that I do a considerable amount of walking each day, almost all on hilly terrain. This takes its toll on the feet and legs and I had begun to experience painful ligaments/tendons in one ankle. Tubigrip was a good solution but not perfect as it failed to give the ankle adequate support in specific areas. That is where the Neo G scores highly in my book. It fully supports the ankle laterally, helping to minimise the effects of any inner roll of the foot which can cause discomfort. The device looked chunky when I took it out of the box but it fitted perfectly and didn't prevent any shoes from doing up normally. It is very light to wear and doesn't make my ankle feel at all sweaty. A hit! Will be using this long-term.

We measured my 11-year-old daughter’s ankle using the size chart and bought a medium.It barely fit on my daughter’s ankle and was too tight to wear, also it cannot be returned.One very unhappy customer.

I regularly attend gym classes most days of the week but injured my ankle. I had used tubular bandages and previously purchased a support with a cut out heel which was uncomfortable in my trainers at the back. The seam under my foot which was like a regular folded seam dug in and caused pain. I found this support brace to be thin, comfortable to wear and very supportive. My ankle measurement was 8 inches, close to the lower end of the measurements of the medium size but still a snug fit. I just need to order another now I know the correct size!

Feels like a good quality product, is comfortable and seems a good fit. Unfortunately when I wear it for a day it often works its way up off my foot and ends up around my ankle. As it has mostly very good reviews I don't know if that's just me or if it's only intended for short periods of sporting activity.

Fits well and does the job.

I bought my first one of these about two years ago when I found myself 'turning' my ankle a lot when walking. I have a medical condition that causes this but it had got worse over the previous few years. I was sceptical that a tight sock would make any difference but I don't seem to be turning my ankle anything like as much since using it. That's not exactly conclusive evidence - maybe the condition would have abated without the sock - but I mentally associate the two and it's perfectly comfortable to wear so why not?I wear it almost every day so it needs regular rinsing and I've found the material, while strong, will deteriorate if used every day as I do. I'd buy a spare anyway so you can wear one while the other is being cleaned.
