Pioneer Photo Albums MP-46 Photo Album, Burgundy Red

At a little over 14" x 14" this album isn't going to fit on my bookshelf. No matter, it's a perfect photo album for me and amazing quality for $20. It takes six 4x6 photo on each page and here's what I like... The album looks and feels solid and well crafted, luxurious even, from the faux leather cover to the thick, archival pages. There is a useful writing space above each pocket. The transparent overlay does not form a tight 4x6 pocket because the 4x6 overlay is adhered for only three out of the four inches between adjacent pockets so there is plenty of space for easy insertion and removal of photos without sacrificing security or protection. Additionally it allows for easy insertion of vertical photos. Even though there is some overlap with the photo above the flexibility of the overlay facilitates easy viewing. A plus from me! Paul

High quality and Traditional

It holds a lot of pictures & u can get refills to add more pg's. I haven't tried adding more but the instructions for doing so seem easy.

Great albums for high capacity needs. I bought these for my brother's wedding proofs - over 1,300 of them so I bought four books and had to use the refill packs to add a few pages to each album. The 6 per page layout is great as you are able to see sequences of photos much better. On a spread, that means you are looking at 12 at a time and it is helpful as you try to choose which ones from a sequence you want to use or print for family and other albums. Saves on having to flip back and forth a lot. The covers are fake leather with a gold border. The black albums look classier. I bought white for the wedding but wish I had bought the black as they definitely look classier and repel dirt more. However, my brother and his bride were thrilled with these. Great value for the price!

Excellent book with option to add refill pages.

I wrote this previously for another album I bought as I bought a couple of these for back-ups. review as previously written: I have about a dozen or so of these photo albums.. and absolutely love them. To pretty much they are the only ones I use. I just bought a couple of extra just to have on hand. 300 is plenty, but if you want (and I Have) have purchased extra inserts for a themed album I did and this photo album can take a good number of extra pages. Sturdy and they look good. Highly recommended.

Not what I expected but generally good album for family

I bought this album for as low as 6$....the pockets are steady, the leather binding is thick with a transparent wrap from the outside as an extra ro the manufacter desceiption....the only missing thing is a creative cover design or a window to put a cover photo this is why I give 4 stars instead of 5 but still good value for money. The cool thing is that you can buy refills but be carefull sometimes the refill are more epensive than buying a second album....handy for few photos left or else you should wait for an offer or simply buy another album if many photos are left.
