Very good
Really good. Moved to this after being really disappointed with Livescribe 3. The N2 is slim, robust and good looking. Comes with small pocket book so you can start using it straight away. Syncs well with Evernote & Google drive. Keeps written pages in perfect sync on app; if you go back & write more on a page you thought was finished with, the app adds that text perfectly. Very pleased - is a keeper.

Good pen poor software
The pen is very good but is let down by the clunky software. It could be that I am using the software incorrectly but I am unable to send across pages of text in a bulk flow and the software puts a return at the end of each line in the transcribed text which means removing them on the computer after the event. Otherwise the pen is easy to use has good battery life and is slimmer and hence more comfortable than my old livescribe pen.

Does not work as supposed to
This is my second pen - as on advice of Neolabs returned the first one. This one is just as bad. I can only think that they have a faulty batch of pens sitting in the supplier for Amazon. It recognises only some of the writing strokes. I am in email conversation with Neolabs and will update if they can find a solution.I wanted this to work as an upgrade from my bulky Livescribe 3 but currently there is no comparison.Edit: No response from Neo Labs on the second one so sent it back.

Yay!
I really like my NeoLab Smartpen. It just does all these things. The transcribe might be a bit lacking at times, but it can only be as good as your writing, I suppose.Searching the notes for a keyword is great. It also means all my notes are always backed up, which frankly is the point of the whole thing.Personally, I like it very much and have recommended it to everyone willing to listen.

Good smartpen so far.
Ordered first N2 and it was obviously faulty ... had to press really hard for it to register any mark in the electronic notebook (even though it was set to max level of sensitivity). Second N2 seems to working well, although I don't understand the need for sensitivity levels. Putting anything below max level 5, makes the pen unusable, so why have levels 1-4?Only been using a couple days so seems pretty good so far.

Nearly very good...
This is nearly a very good product. Pen feels fine. The app works well. It's a bit worrisome that there are currently stock issues with certain types of paper, both on Amazon and other retailers. Makes me a bit worried about the long-term viability of this pen. There are 3 major flaws, which could be relatively easily updated:1. Recorded audio should also be available as a separate file. It really limits the usefulness of this feature if I can only listen to audio in the app, and can't share the audio with anyone else. This is particularly true because no other voice recorder app can be used at the same time as recording in Neo Notes.2. When sharing notes, you have to do it 1 page at a time. When sending as a PDF, for example, it should ask which pages of the notebook you want to send.3. It would be great if I could view Neo Notes on my laptop/desktop, even if in a browser window. So, nearly great, but falls short.
