Whenever, one of my devices fuses, I frantically look around for another device with the same amperage, and then replace the non-functional fuse, with the working one. Obviously, it means the other device has no fuse, and can’t function. I decided enough was enough now, and finally bought this multi-set of 20 fuses from ‘STATUS’, incorporating 3 Amps, 5 amps and 13 Amp fuses. Now, all my devices are covered, and no need for swapping fuses any more.The breakdown of the 20 Amps is as follows – Eight 3 Amp fuses, Four 5 Amp fuses and Eight 13 Amp fuses. This is proportional as most of my devices take 3 Amp and 13 Amp charges, as opposed to a few that are just 5 Amp compatible.I’ve checked all of my devices, and for those that hadn’t been used regularly and had missing fuses, I placed brand new fuses into them, and tested them. For all 8 devices, the fuses were easily inserted and the devices are now operational.These are excellently priced at £3.58 and manufactured to the highest British safety standards (BS1362 compliant). As a rule of thumb, fuses are rated according to the power rating of the appliance. Each item should be fitted with the correctly rated fuse as the appliance will develop power when in use. Hopefully you will find this information useful.13A Fuse - This category normally includes the more power hungry appliances such as: kettle, toaster, blenders, food processors, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, vacuum cleaner, iron etc.3A Fuse - The fuse rating covers a broad spectrum of products around the home which may include: small blenders, computer, DVD/ Blu ray player, network router, television, freezer/fridge, table lamp etc. Some DIY tools: power drill, jig saw.I actually went around the house and checked some of the appliances to confirm. I know, I need to get out more often! Both of my TV's were fitted with 10Amp fuse. The Toshiba television is approximately 12 years old and the plasma TV (Panasonic) about 5 years. My vacuum cleaner was also fitted with 10Amp fuse.According to the UK Electrical Safety Council, 3Amp should suffice for appliances rated up to 700 watts. So a 3Amp fuse should be more than adequate as a suitable replacement. If you can get hold of a 10Amp fuse then fit that instead.As a general rule, it is better to start with a lower rated fuse. If you have a problem, say the fuse keeps blowing, then try the next size up and so on. You should not use a fuse above the recommended rating by the manufacturer.The fuses are CE certified, which means the manufacturer should have checked that the product complies with all relevant essential requirements, e.g. health and safety requirements.[...]

Great value pack - 2 packs - of fuses at a very reasonable price.The fuses are BS1362 (British Standard) and made by Status International which is a UK company.There are four 3 Amp fuses and four 13 Amp fuses in each pack.There are only two 5 Amp fuses in each pack.I wish there was a more equal number of 5 Amp fuses because these are the most tricky ones to find "spare" around the house when needed in my experience. More appliances are using 5 Amp fuses - televisions, vacuum cleaners, plumbing pumps, hairdryers and so on - so it would be good to have at least one more in each pack. Not a criticism just a comment.

What can one say about a few packs of electrical fuses??...Having an electrical tester at home and being a little sad....I tested every single one of the 20 mixed fuses I received, and can tell you that 19 were as expected and fully working, with one being a dud (3 amp one).However for the price, super fast delivery, and the item(s) being well packaged, I really can't complain!One other point to note should you be a little anal... the fuses came in one sealed little bag, not 2 packs as the picture suggests.Not a problem for me, but hey... maybe for you!A handy little pack to have in the toolbox at home, you never know when one might be needed.I had to knock off a star for having the one dud, but otherwise I am perfectly happy with my purchase.

Well, what can I say...this is 2 packs of basic fuses, in various amps, perfect for replacing a blown fuse. All too often, plugs come with far higher fuses than they need. As such, these are great for replacing them with a suitable one to protect the cable from overheating.Definitely recommended and good value from a reputable manufacturer.

Great quality pack of UK mains plug fuses. Work as stated, and ratings clearly marked. So small I nearly missed it in the packaging of the box (bought with several other things). Bargain IMO. If you need fuses then look no further.
