Q: The nicaragua medium roast clearly shows usda organic in the photo, yet my package arrived without the organic usda symbol. can you verify if it is?

This is organic and we are working on getting it approved and added to our list of products. However, that is not complete yet and someone inadvertently used the stickers that will be used after it is officially approved. We will correct that asap.

Q: Can I put this through a coffee machine?

Crio Bru says yes, but with "permanent gold filter or mesh (not paper)." I have personally only used a French press and a single chip tea strainer.

Q: nicarague vs double chocolate - which is your preference?

Ghana has been my preference so far. Nicaragua has a bit more of a hot chocolate overtone IMHO and the Ghana more purely cacao. But I haven't tried a bad flavor yet.

Q: Question: after steeping in the french press for 10+ minutes, it is no longer hot. do i reheat it in the microwave?

There are a few things that might help make your Crio Bru drink hotter. The instructions for brewing call for using very hot water, so start with that . It might help to put your french press on a surface other than stone that will suck the heat out of anything. A wood or plastic cutting board might help. Some would place a tea cozy or dish towel around the french press while brewing. If all else fails, reheating in the microwave does no harm to the drink.
