I've used this product in lockdown after not being able to go get my wax done for my legs. I have extremely thick black hair and this was able to grip them extremely well. I also suffered with alot of ingrowns so waxing normally is quite challenging due to the texture of my skin. This product is easy to use especially for people who have not self waxed before. Mostly as it is not hot wax and you don't run the chance of burning your self. If the gel is a bit stiff I recommend 10 secs in the microwave. Definitely no more!! Another point to make is that because it is a gel you can spread it out quite alot and it covers a good amount of skin. (considering my hair was fully grown... I was able to wax 2 half legs and 2 half arms.) The sheets provided with the pack worked really well but as I had a lot of hair to remove I also used some pre baught wax strips and they worked well. If you need more strips rip an old t shirt. Lastly the after care of this product particularly amazed me. I showered and not gel was led over on my legs. Something I have struggled with a lot. The gel can become sticky as you go on and it can become a messy process... I recommend you sit in an area you don't mind getting gel over, especially if it's your first time. Overall I highly recommended this product! Hope this helps!! !! UPDATE !! I firstly used this product over a year ago and I thought it would be good to give an update. I am glad to say that I have gotten this again a few times and the quality has been just the same. I have now switched to getting some fabric wax strips also from amazon as the strip provides are no way near enough for me! Although they are of very good quality. I wanted to also give guidance on the length to warm it up. In colder weather, I use 5 sec intervals to warm it up. You are looking for the spatula to move around with a bit of resistance in the pot. I would say max of 15 sec with gaps. The pain level is pretty low in my opinion as it is a gel so it feels quite soothing when applied, does not pull on hair as spreading. Best thing of all about this is how easily the wax dissolves under water so u can clean of any access. Simple!! Hope this helps!!

I bought this product years ago when the Australian woman that created it was selling it on the shopping channels. It works well. I used it on my legs once and the hair never grew back. I was quite pleased Amazon had it and the price was 1/3 of what I paid years ago. I bought it to tackle lady whiskers, I’m a bit older now and have sprouted unsightly facial hair. Obviously a very poor joke that you get a friggin beard when you age. But nonetheless, I was thrilled to find Nads again. It arrived quickly as do all Prime deliveries. So I prep my face. Now ready to use the product, I unscrewed the lid, imagining this may be the one any only time I have to do this if it works like it did on my legs. As I twist, I’m feeling stickiness. Odd! The reason revealed itself soon enough. The bloody thing had been previously opened by some random. And they shoved the crumpled up foil cover into the product before closing the lid. Eeeew. Nevermind, can’t be bothered messing about trying to return something cheap and nasty. In the bin. Raging to say the least. Oh well, guess it’s back to the tweezers. Such is life.

It's a great product

I first used this product many many years ago when recommended it by my Aunty when we were discussing hair removal and how I reacted badly to the creams you can get and didn't enjoy frequent shaving. I loved using it back then as it really did mean I could go a long time without removing hair between uses. Since then I went through a period of not having any disposable income and so couldn't continue to buy this product. Instead I bought an electric shaver on discount and had been using that as and when I could be bothered. More recently (for the past year nearly) I haven't been removing my leg hair at all as I don't like how quickly my legs get spiky/stubbly after shaving. Men get that "Five O'clock Shadow" thing (though my dad used to get his at midday!) and unfortunately its the same for me with my leg hair. So I stopped bothering as long hairs are softer than stubble regrowth! However, now that I have a bit more income, I decided to treat myself to some more of this wonderful hair removal gel to use as the weather warms up. As it removes the hair follicle, the time between uses is a lot longer. You do need to have a reasonable length of hair for it to be able to remove it (as with any wax product) so this product is better for people who don't mind letting their hair grow a bit in between uses. I did find that when using it before quite consistently, that my hair growth in certain areas of my legs nearly stopped (from repeatedly removing the hair follicle - eventually the body gives up growing a new one) and even to this day those areas are less hairy. In regards to ease of use, I find that you really have to follow the instructions carefully. When it says a thin layer, it really means it! I find it more successful if you apply a small amount, wait for it to warm to your body temperature, and then spread it as far as possible with the spatula (in a downwards direction on the legs). I find it better not to coat the entire leg, but to work in small sections (slightly shorter than the length of the cotton strips to allow for easier removal) and then it is possible to reuse the same strip a couple of times with the next area coated with as little product as possible. If you apply the gel too thickly, it coats the strip too much and makes it pretty impossible to reuse. You get 5 strips which is just about right (2 for each leg then one extra) if you use them right. I like to use the strip as much as possible before it is fully loaded with gel and hair before moving on to the next strip. There is a certain point where it will no longer pick anything up - it won't even stick to the skin any more. That's the point that I put it in the sink full of water to allow the gel to wash off. I also keep the cotton strips from previous boxes in order to make sure that I have enough. Then you can be a little less careful with the whole thing! On the subject of the cotton strips, previously when I bought Nads (quite a lot of years ago now) the strips were wider and straight sided. The ones I received with this box have had the edges cut with pinking shears so they are sort of jagged (but which is supposed to stop fraying which the old style did do after a while). I think I preferred the old strips for their larger surface area. Previously two would cover the front of my lower leg widthways if laid next to one another. Now it would require three to cover the same area so they may get used up a bit more quickly than the old style. But I'll have to wait and see how they fare.

Je fais rarement des retours sur produits mais là je suis obligé ! Juste génial, ne colle pas aux doigts, j'ai même l'impression d'avoir moins mal durant l'épilation. Une fois l'épilation finie, les bandes sont super-faciles à nettoyer sous l'eau. La petite boîte contient tout ce dont ont à besoin : 5 bandes en tissu (pourrait être de meilleure qualité car s'effiloche vite), une petite spatule, des lingettes pour nettoyer vos gambettes et enfin la super cire :D Je n'ai pas fait de réaction allergique, mes jambes étaient même moins rouge que quand j'utilise de la cire chaude ou des bandes froides. Je la conseille à 100% à qui veut tester au moins pour ce faire un avis ;)

I used to buy this stuff from drug stores and grocery stores in Toronto. Now I cannot find it anywhere! I have tried hot waxes (too tricky to get the temperature right/ messy) cold waxes (painful!) and other sugaring products. None of them gave me results as good as this stuff.

I received the eyebrow wax pen last week and was so impressed by it I ordered the body wax. Now, I have no training at all yet found this a bit messy on the first arm, then let it warm up a bit and violas! Brilliant product, works so well on face, arms and legs. I’m saving $30 every 3 weeks. Very happy customer. 🤗

Après des années de combat avec la cire, la crème dépilatoire, le razoir, l'épilateur électrique... - Se rince facilment avec de l'eau - Très efficace sur toutes les zones a épiler - bandes de tissus lavable et reutilisables - S'utilise a froid Que demande le peuple ???? Je rachèterais ce gel jusqu'à ce que la marque l'arrête.
