Q: can you use it on face around eyes

Yes you can. I was recommended this cream by the hospital and use it daily on face with no adverse affects. It is light ,non greasy and you only need a very small amount. Generally I put a small blob on finger and squash it with thumb and then use it as it spreads easily then.
