Amazonas Easy+

Picked up two of these to go along with a "Large Wooden Garden Hammock with Wooden Splitter bars". Note: if you want to use these at both ends of the hammock then you'll need to order two as there's only one in the pack. In the end I probably only needed one as it worked better to have one attached to the side of the house and a bit of rope tied to a tree for the other end.Firstly, these are rock solid. They come with long screws and plugs to go in brickwork/concrete. You could skip the plugs and screw them straight into wood though if you wanted. The screws had no problem at all holding two adults in the hammock even with some excessive swinging!Secondly, the hook is much bigger than I expected. It weighs almost half a kg (~1 lb). The back plate is 8cm (~3 inches) in diameter and the hook itself is 12 cm long (~5 inches). The opening in the hook is 2.5cm (~1 inch) at its widest and that works well with the thick rope ends you normally get on hammocks. The metal of the hook is 1cm (~0.4 inches) thick so will outlast the hammock, me and probably the house!I've included a picture with my hand in shot to give a sense of scale - but then again I guess you have no idea how big my hand is! :)Hopefully this is helpful to someone though!

Hooks work well for size. Got a pair and they work well. Sturdy hooks and easy to put up. Instructions easy enough to follow.Very quick delivery.

Good quality item, good quality rawl plugs provided and screws, however I found the screws slightly too large for the rawl plugs provided, so I chose to use some of my own. Definately fixes well and holds the weight of two adults in hammock suspended from brick wall

Very sturdy but the screws are rubbish. Heads chew up long before they can be screwed in even with pilot hole drilled.Strong hex screws do the job.

We don't use this for its intended purpose as we don't have the luxury of a hammock - I wish! Needed something heavy-duty to attach the dog to and this is just perfect, its been screwed into the wall and theres no way she can pull this out. Shes very strong so we needed something sturdy. The carabiner attachment is really handy, plus its very strong and well made.

Is exactly the right thing for the job. The photos make it look small but is just the right size and will comfortably hold a two man hammock

Strong bracket works very well, but BEWARE do not use the screws supplied with the bracket. Ours has been supporting hammock between two trees for 4 months, has not had a great deal of use, but yesterday one set of screws in one tree had worn and sheared off whilst I was in the hammock and gave me a very nasty bump onto the ground!!! All screws now replaced with much stronger, longer ones.... hopefully no further 'bumps'.

This is really strong, very easy to screw to the wall. Pulled with all my energy, it is solid. Really pleased. Great quality.

Great hooks. You need to put some oil on the connections to not have the noises )))

Sulla confezione è data addirittura per tenere carichi fino a 200kg.I tasselli sono i classici fisher da muro ai quali ho aggiunto (solo perchè mi era avanzato da un precedente lavoro) un pò di tassello chimico.E' un po' che uso l'amaca in taverna e devo dire che il supporto fa il suo lavoro senza battere ciglio.Consigliatissimo

Wir wollten endlich unsere Hängematte aus dem Südamerikaurlaub auch in der Wohnung befestigen (von Wand zu Wand). Im Baumarkt hatte ich schon versucht selbst etwas zusammenzustellen, doch entweder gab es nicht das, wonach ich gesucht hatte oder die Lösunt wäre nicht optimal gewesen (z.B.weil dann die Aufhängung/Seile der Hängematte sich mit der Zeit durchwetzen würden, oder weil es dann immer quietscht).Deshalb habe ich mich dann doch entschlossen die Amazonase Easy+ Wandhaken zu bestellen, auch wenn mich der Preis zuerst abgeschreckt hat. Aber mitterweile bin ich froh, das Geld investiert zu haben. Die Platte ist zwar größer als ich gedacht hätte, dafür klappt es mit den Bohrlöchern und er Befestigung auch besser (bei unseren Wänden kommt uns beim Bohren schon mal etwas mehr Putz entgehen und wenn man zwei Bohrlöcher eng nebeneinander hat kann es dann schwierig werden...). Der Karabiner ist außerem auch ausreichend groß, um die Aufhängung der Hängematte bequem einhängen zu können. Super ist aber vor allem, dass man wegen der Kunststoffmanschette, die zwischen Wandhaken und Karabiner angebracht ist, ganz sanft und leise vor sich hinschaukelt - völlig ohne lästige Quietschgeräusche! Das war uns beim Kauf sehr wichtig und ich hab's eben extra nochmal ausprobiert - da quietsch absolut nichts (vielleicht wenn man zu zweit oder mit mehr Gewicht in der Hängematte liegt, aber selbst dann dürfte das quietschen eher leise ausfallen)! Einziges kleines Manko: das Design könnte etwas schöner sein, ist aber alles in allem ok. Und durch die Hängematte, die nun meist quer im Raum hängt, fallen die zwei Wandhaken auch nicht mehr so auf. Deshalb alles in allem: klare Kaufempfehlung!
