Decent rods for the price paid, been out a few times and no problems and a few fish as well... Can't say how they'll be in a few months but when space is tight in the car Ideal

Please note I have bought this as a present for a seven year old, and as such I have not used it. This review is based only on what my partner says about what has been delivered, unused, upon visual inspection only. He says it's a really decent rod and great for the price, solidly built, the size is excellent and it's a really decent reel and line. so I hope that helps. I'm not overly in the know about fishing equipment, but my partner likes to fish and he has concluded this is a decent buy. It also looks pretty cool. I showed it him first before I ordered it and he approved, it seems to be the most decent one on the market around this price point based on all the reviews I read on this rod and other rods available on Amazon.

Good quality product at a great price and made my grandson very happy.
As an angler with expensive equipment I bought this for my grandson and was surprised at the quality of kit for the price, very sturdy and light which should last for a long time, ( if his dad let's him use it as he was impressed too) the rod is not too long for a nine year old and fits into the car easily taking up little space, the reel came loaded with line and is a smooth piece of kit also, all in all a great buy and well worth the money,

Excellent starter rod/reel.
The rod is ok. Ideal for my needs(fitting on a motorcycle) as its telescopic and is one of the shorter ones when its folded down. I had an issue with the reel breaking on first use, however this was swapped out for free by the seller and did not have any issues at all the 2nd time. It's a good, cheap way to get into pier/beach fishing. I might even buy another one!

Crap reel !!!
The reel handle failed after 2 fishing sessions. The metal pin holding the handle itself onto the handle shaft came out and was never found again. Tried to improvise with some wire but this failed also due to the poor quality plastic the handle is made of. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

My father likes it very much!
The material and quality of these fishing rods are very good. like their decals and feel cool. I think my father will like them. I decided to buy a set for him.
