Easy to take.

I tested really low on B12 at a doctor's appointment last summer- low enough that the results didn't give an exact number, they just said <50. My doctor told me to take a B12 supplement, and then she would re-test it in a few months. I took this every day for about 5 months before I went back, and my B12 levels were actually above the normal range (she told me I can stop taking the supplement now). So this product worked really well. Methylcobalamin is supposed to be the most easily absorbed form of B12, which is good since I have GI issues. My only criticism is that it does not really dissolve that quickly, and it is a bit awkward to take. You have to kind of chew it up, while NOT swallowing it, then wait for it to dissolve before swallowing. I would wait until the grittiness in my mouth was gone, and then swallow, because I figured it had been absorbed by that point. Take it while you are still preparing breakfast, or while you are washing up afterward- if you take it during breakfast, you are going to be sitting there while your food gets cold waiting for it to dissolve.

If you are older you might well be having a B12 deficiency, likely due to an inability to digestively process the vitamin. Therefore you need the methylcobalamin form, which goes directly into your bloodstream thru an under-the-tongue absorption. Natural Factors is the only (or at least very rare) product of this kind that is without sugar. It absorbs better as sugar makes you swallow it faster, rather than letting it dissolve slowly under the tongue. (And who needs more sugar anyway!) But do not get me wrong: This is naturally a great tasting product without any added sweetener. And if you do need B12, it works quickly and very effectively. Can likely take the place of monthly doctor injections.

Good choice

I have been taking this for over a year now due to a concussion. It gives me some energy. It’s easy to take as you just put under your tongue and let it dissolve. The taste is good. I really notice on days that I don’t take it. It’s a must have.

Wish it had B12 adenosylcobalimin included in it as well
