I also like planning holidays etc so far in advance that I will likely have a 2020 insert as soon as they are out. The paper quality of the inserts is great- there is no shine through when writing on one side, even when writing with fine liners, so you can always use both sides. I like the fact that this planner is easy to personalise- you can buy lots of inserts as it is a standard "personal" size and many private sellers accommodate this with their products. I also love using lots of stickers and coloured pens with mine- some of which can be stored inside the planner itself.I will definitely buy another when the time comes.

I bought this because I wanted to try upgrading sizes for my desktop organiser. As I own an Personal size Saffiano and love it I opted to get the same organiser but in A5.The inserts match those of my smaller Saffiano but it comes with the surprise of an 18 month diary insert which doesn't start until July 1st. So no dumping or wastage of out of date inserts.The look and feel of this binder is lovely and it sits flat from the outset when I'm writing into it, Something that takes time to happen with leather organisers. The strap fastener is long enough to allow you to have the filofax pretty full and still close it. Unlike some other A5 organisers this one only comes with one pen loop, an elasticated one on the front inside cover.It comes with the regular paper samples, to-do lists, 2 plastic flyleafs, 6 part dividers labelled 1 - 6 in contrasting colours (identical to the personal Saffiano), a top opening plastic sleeve/envelope, a frosted clear page ruler/maker, and a note pad in the back cover situated inside an open top/bottom sleeve. The front inside pocket is a flap design which has five slots provided, 4 business card size and a longer slot below them.The rings and all even and open/close smoothly and perfect. Always a concern with these type of binders.All in all I love this organiser and use it everyday. Well worth the price I paid for it which I was lucky enough to save more than £10 off the regular price.

I think Filofax need to decide what colour aquamarine actually is. I thought this product was more blue and in fact it is on one of the photos, but this was more of a green colour when it arrived. I was in two minds about sending it back but the risk of Covid infection taking it to the post office stopped me! For the sake of a few shades difference I will keep it. It will probably be my last paper diary given most people use online versions!Good product but colour did not delight!!!

The Saffiano 'Personal' size Filofax that I bought was "like new" as described, but I was VERY DISAPPOINTED to find that the diary in it was 2015 and not 2016, as I would have expected when buying in September. I had put it aside to give as a Christmas gift and did not realise that the diary was out of date until I was about to wrap it!. I wanted to contact the seller about this, but could not find any email address, or link to the seller to ask if this was an error. Other people buying earlier in the year than I did, wrote reviews stating theirs had a 2016 diary, so why wasn't mine & why wasn't it made clear in the description that the diary in it would be 2015?Apart from that, I think the "personal" size is a great size for someone who wants to put lots of page inserts in it, as the rings are larger than those on the "compact" size filofax (which is a more portable size to carry around, but the rings are very small, so you struggle to put many inserts in it, which limits its use). I love the colour. I also bought an A5 Saffiano organiser (aquamarine - beautiful colour), which is huge in comparison, but nice for home organising projects. The 'personal' size is more versatile & 'the middle of the road' size between the compact & A5, and if it hadn't come with a nearly out of date diary, I would have given the review 4 or 5 stars

Good value for money and really pleased there is a 2023 diary as it's for a xmas pressie.

The first time I set my eyes on the Saffiano, I knew it was love. I had outgrown my personal size Finsbury and decided this would be the perfect fit. The colour is gorgeous and the size exactly what I needed.Initially I purchased a Saffiano from another retailer which arrived damaged, the 4th ring was slightly out of place making it difficult to turn the pages so I returned it. A few weeks later I found the Saffiano on Amazon £10 cheaper so I decided to try again. This one arrived in tact and all seemed fine until January.I purchased the Filofax in November and by January the 4th ring (again) somehow bent out of place. I've owned multiple Filofaxes for several years and never encountered this issue with the rings. I continued to use the planner until three weeks ago when the strap split in two. What in the ham sandwich Filofax? I'll happily super glue the strap back together and use the Saffiano as an archive but I wouldn't recommend purchasing it.Pay the extra and get one of the genuine leather models. I've since replaced the Saffiano with an A5 Finsbury which I can trust will not fall apart in the space of a few short months.
