Q: Does the colour go very dark? I am looking for a medium-dark brown colour? Can you make it lighter by leaving it on less time?

There is a lot of indigo content in this shade, so it does go fairly dark. But as l have a lot of greys, l find it works better than lighter shades as long as long as l leave it on long enough - the longer time the darker it goes - usually about 4 hours in my case. Hope this helps.

Dear Aurelia,Thank you for your question.You will need to strand test, as bleach changes your hair structure, so it may mean the colour takes to your hair in an unpredictable way, or that it may go more brassy. Q: As my commercial dye grows out i will have a line of grey at temples. will the 'it's pure' natural dye cover the grey at temples?

A: It takes two applications to cover grey hair and it has to be left on for nearly three hours each time. So apply it and it will darken it a bit and then apply it again a few days later. I know this because I asked the manufacturers. I would advise you to contact them directly because they’re the experts. I have used this tint for about ten years because it’s brilliant. It keeps your hair glossy.

I used this, it will certainly cover the white. On me it came out quite dark and be aware it is permanent and does not wash out so I was left with a regrow this line for ages!
