The Philips OneBlade Hybrid Stubble Trimmer is versatile and easy to use, with a precise blade that handles different beard lengths smoothly. It’s durable, waterproof, and comfortable to hold. I didn’t expect to use it this much (I am using for quite a long time), but it quickly became my go-to grooming tool. So far, it’s been reliable and convenient.

I'm a hairy guy. Pretty much all over to be honest, think a werewolf wearing a fur coat, but thankfully for the general public, they only have to contend with the hair on my face. Now I'm no stranger to a fine, full, dignified beard but I tend to keep it in check these days with a combination of beard trimmer and Braun shaver and, to be fair, they work well. However, I've noticed the trimmer begin to blunt and the Braun tends to irritate. So, after doing a little research on the OneBlade I thought I'd give it a shot and my god the blade fairies at Philips have been busy. This thing slices through even the toughest beard and stubble with ease and absolutely no tugging what so ever. Honestly this little gadget has replaced both my trimmer and my £100+ Braun, its just that good. Why use 2 devices when this one out performs them both. I will say however if you're a fan of the babies bottom smooth close shave this device isn't for you. When shaving the OneBlade cuts close, but not as close as a wet shave or electric shaver. Personally I prefer this as is leads to less irritation and less in growing hairs. I've tried trimming and shaving dry and the results are superb. Also it works equally well with shaving foam/gel for those more sensitive among us. Whilst you can use this in shower I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, yes its water resistant but I'm not sure how it will stand up to a full deluge - then again who shaves in the shower? Who has a mirror in the shower? Some people have criticised this for needing a fresh blade every 4 months at about £10 (assuming average use and not shaving small mammals or anything too extreme). That may sound a little expensive but that's only £30 a year, still cheaper than most high end wet razor blades over the same period and even cheaper than the cleaning liquid refills for my Braun with magically seem to empty themselves just a but too quickly. Honestly though, this is a great device. Build quality feels solid, even the blades with look flimsy are remarkable well made as are the included trimmer combs. It does what it says on the tin - trims, shaves and edges. Oh, and you get a spare blade too! That's 8 months of glorious face fuzz management straight out the box.

Brilliant product

I used to dread shaving in the morning and was always left scouring the Internet for expensive shavers and trimmers when I came across the one blade, although limited in sizes I like to keep my beard relatively short so it's perfect for controlling that stubble. Perfect for a quick line up in the mornings no water foams or balms required. Easy to use with the swappable heads and lasts quite a long time between charges especially if you add it to your daily routine. Haven't even needed to swap the heads out but they've remained in good condition after weeks of constant use. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Es pronto para poner una reseña pero la he probado y la Oneblade es la mejor maquinilla de afeitar que he tenido. (Que la verdad he tenido pocas y malas jajajja pero ahora explico por qué le pongo 5 estrellas). Para empezar ya me venía cargada por lo que he podido afeitarme y cuando lo he hecho ha sido otro mundo... he notado mucha suavidad, sin cortes y encima con bastante barba, que yo suelo afeitarme y luego me olvido y me tiro como 2 semanas o más sin afeitarme... Pues he visto que ha podido con mi barba y tengo una barba muy pero que muy dura y una piel muy sensible. Para que os hagais una idea, tenía que usar una cuchilla normal por cada afeitado y casi siempre acababa cortándome... Al probar esta ha sido todo lo contrario, la cuchilla parece que ni se inmuta y la suavidad con la que afeita me ha sorprendido. La cuchilla es muy fácil de poner, es como el mecanismo de un chupete y para quitarla tiene un botón con una flecha un poco complicada de retirar pero fácil. PROS: Suave al afeitar y afeita bastante bien, no rasura tanto tanto como una cuchilla pero a mí me ha dejado hasta la cara suave, sin tirones y con una barba bastante larga y dura (Como la vida misma). Venía cargada y creo que la podré cargar con una batería externa aunque de eso no estoy seguro, quizás necesite un cargador del móvil ya que solo viene el cable desde la maquinilla al usb. Trae una bolsita muy útil y un protector simple para cubrir la parte superior de la maquinilla y la cuchilla. Te puedes duchar con ella así que es resistente al agua. CONTRAS: Si tienes la barba muy larga se va acumulando en la parte de arriba de la maquinilla y tienes que ir enjuagándola para que no se acumulen tantos pelos. Cumple su función de sobra aunque solo me he afeitado una vez con ella. No sé si es que la cuchilla está alrevés pero afeita mejor de abajo a arriba, aunque si te pones a dar círculos suaves, quita la barba suavemente. ¿Podría ser que el funcionamiento del motor esté alrevés y por eso afeita mejor hacia arriba? No estoy seguro. La Caja es bien sobria, de cartón y las instrucciones dobladas y bien cutres, en el embalaje se han lucido... no da muy buena impresión al ser todo en plan para reciclar... La carga pone que es lentísima, unas 8 horas... En resumen, la primera maquinilla que puede con mi barba larguilla y dura de unas 2 semanas aprox y que no me ha hecho ni una sóla herida en la piel. Ahora tengo la carita como el culito de un bebé. Gracias Philips, Gracias Amazon.

Tried Gillette styler, thought that was good, manscaped, and other brand none come close to the shave from this. The cleanest shave ive had in years closest thing to traditional razor you'll get. Recommend
