Does the job well!
Had been struggling for a while to fit by GU10 bulbs and came across this item. Saw the odd negative review but given the mainly positive reviews I decided to give it a go.I can honestly say this product done the job perfectly and I was pretty amazed at how easy it made fitting my bulbs. I note that some people have complained that the suction doesn’t take to their bulbs - I would recommend applying the suction to the bulb with some pressure before locking it in so that it will adhere to the bulb.

Don't burn your fingers ... use this
Initially I was disappointed as there didn't seam to be any 'suction' when when pressed against a GU10 glass bulb face (this could still be improved by the way) but when you twist the bulb using the tool it gets a very tight purchase to twist the bulb in and out of the socket. The nice thing about it is that you can do it with the light already on and you don't burn your fingers when it energizes. It makes the job of changing/replacing bulbs much faster. I had to do some bulbs in a vaulted ceiling so I put the tool on the end of a stick and it was OK for that to but it WAS a bit of a circus balancing act to get the bulb up and down (hence why the suction could be better ... I did drop one bulb!) which is why it gets 4 and not 5. All in all a very good tool. If you don't have one, get one.

UTTERLY USELESS - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
This item is utterly useless as it provides zero suction when operated. I requested to return it for a refund, and it is indicative that Amazon refunded me and then didn't want the item returned. It's almost like they know this product is of abysmal quality. I did, however, take some small pleasure in pounding the worthless item into the concrete of my garage floor with a sledge hammer to vent my frustration. Most cathartic ;0)

Literally OK - did the job after breaking apart and reassembling.
The tool didn't work initially but works great with a little modification. Beneath the suction cup there is a black 'bowl' which houses the suction rubber. Well this bowl doesn't allow the sucker to get a FLAT grip on surfaces. In frustration I broke apart the item and found that the product was a glorified Kinder surprise toy.I removed the black bowl and re-assembled the item and now the item works great! Not sure why the sucker is housed in a concave surface rather than a flat backed bit of plastic. Now I can effortlessly attach it to things, where as before there was a 5% chance [and a lot of frustration] of getting it stuck onto a surface.3 stars for working eventually, but not out the box. Remove the black bit and you'll have a winner!

Brilliant Gadget!
I have been trying for months to fit the bulbs into the triple spotlight in my bathroom using the little suction thing that came with the light. It was absolutely useless! I eventually managed to get one in so just made do until that bulb died then I had the same problem again. This wee gadget is tremendous, it literally took me 2 minutes to put the bubs in. Having a rigid handle on it helps and let's you get a proper grip to twist the bulb into position, wish I had found it sooner 😀

Takes those pesky bulbs out in no time!
I wasn't sure if this would work or not but I was surprised it works very well. Moisten the sucker and it's a dream.
