Just beautiful
If stained glass is your thing you should treat yourself to this volume. It may only be 130 pages but is packed with stunning examples of medieval English glass. Most of the famous glass is here but the omission of St Lawrence at Ludlow is an odd one; generally held to be on a par with Fairford & Great Malvern. Still, 5* for what is included.

Great value book
A lovely book - but the cover had suffered from overly restrictive plastic covering! It had sustained minor damage from being wrapped too tightly - so a little disappointed by its overall appearance. Was dispatched quickly and arrived in good time.

Masterly study of English stained glass
This is the only comprehensive study of English stained glass readily and economically available; it covers all periods and all parts of the country. The text is concise and readable, linked to superb illustrations. A `must' for anyone interested in church architecture.Richard Camp

Great book
Bought it as a gift for a friend who absolutely loved it. Arrived with the cellophane wrapper still on. In pristine condition. IT gave a 3 day window for delivery and it arrived on the third day.
