Very good camera took this to capture the Maldives and boy it was good. Did some diving and the videos were good not great and can be improved, however next time I should get the better camera from this brand. Overall very easy to use and takes good quality pics and vids. Battery life is ok, but come on battery is tiny so I get they won't last as long. I purchased all the accessories for the camera and can't complain perfect for the little guy.

Great little action camera to introduce you to the world of live action videos at a good price. 2 x batteries, charger and sd included and useable accessories. Use for videoing our dog in action - good picture quality. ease to download. Good design, light and easy to operate. Wriststrap operation a really useful add on that I didn't think we'd use. I purchased this action camera following reading the positive reviews and I’m glad I did. I predominantly use action cameras for travel (with a little bit of cycling thrown in) and the AKASO hasn’t disappointed. The build of the camera feels of a good quality, including the included waterproof case. I have used the camera underwater and can confirm it is water tight! The quality of the recording is very clear, and even better when transferring to phone/PC (this is easily done using the app). I’d recommend having the motion stabiliser mode turned on when doing anything with a lot of movement as it does make a difference. Battery life is good and very easy to charge using the battery docking station. Overall I’m really impressed!

I bought this camera to take with me on a snorkelling trip. I used it almost every day for 3 weeks. The image and video are fair but with a small sensor like that you will get less details and underwater video and photos will have even less light. But all that considered it does a good job. The microphone is surprisingly good even with the waterproof case. The accessories are alright but the metal parts rusted within two weeks despite me cleaning with fresh water and drying them after use, on the third week the rust was so bad that the screw on the base became completely stuck to the other part and when I tried to remove it, the part that was glued was what came off (it broke, basically). Another issue was that on the third week the waterproof case started having drop leaks inside the case, which didn’t damage the camera but created fog inside and blurred the lens cover. So, it’s an ok underwater camera for casual use (I wouldn’t recommend buying it if you are going to be using it a lot). And if you are buying it for the accessories that are go-pro compatible just beware that the metal parts will be ruined quickly if you use them underwater. I have no idea of how well they will preform for dry use.

Excellent range of accessories are inckuded and for my use, primarily as a remote underwater camera, the pictures are very good as long as there is sufficient natural light.The lack of an internal light underwater is a hindrance but at this price point not surprising. The remote underwater usage is hampered somewhat by not having a remote view capability as the WiFi method chosen does not work underwater of course. Overall I am happy with the product as it's fits my needs well at a great price.Battery life is not great but two batteries help in this regard.

I've scored this 5 stars given the price and the picture quality. There are some negative aspects but given the cost it's hard to mark the camera down for that.I bought this product to use on a ski holiday but also to help with training dinghy sailing. so far only used it for skiing and it performed great.The picture quality is excellent and comes with a few different straps and attachments. I used a basic webbing strap and put it on the shoulder strap of my rucksack while skiing and it worked perfectly.Battery life is ok but given the cold conditions I was skiing in I didn't expect much. I'd say it would last most of the day if you were taking still photos but longer videos (e.g. >15mins) drain it pretty fast which is kind of understandable. As you get 2 batteries with the camera you can easily do a swap over if needed.I used the remote control button which was great.Improvements/negatives:- hard to tell when it's on when you have ski goggles, etc. There's no handy LED light that shows the power is on (not that I could tell anyway)- hard to tell when it's recording versus camera mode. this could be my lack of product knowledge but there was no beep or anything to acknowledge it was recording. you had to pivot the camera so you could see the screen and then try and make out the small type at the bottom of the screen (which is hard to do with ski gloves/goggles and also with rubbish eye sight- unfortunately lost audio on a few videos. this could be user error but just couldn't work out how to get it consistent and obviously I must have made a fat finger error on the slopes- trying to get it working with a mac was a challenge. I couldn't get the mac to recognise the SD card format so had to use windows / phone app- downloading files from camera to device (specifically phones) is painful especially when they're large. the app doesn't persist a queue and the wifi connection can (and will) drop just when you're in the middle of downloading a load of files. the lack of persistent queue means you can't tell where you got upto so you end up starting at the beginning and then having to sort out duplicate filesAside from the negative points above which mostly can be overcome with experience of use I've been really pleased with the camera and plan to use a lot more.

Lovely little camera with loads of accessories at a really good price point. Waterproof housing not tested yet but looks to be good quality.
