I wanted to leave it a little while before I left a review, so that I could truly give an accurate account of the product. Firstly, I am 39 and was fed up of tired looking skin that was starting to sag, wrinkle and look dull as well as show lots of large pores (something I was very down about as I have always had great skin).I started on a real mission to try and sort myself out as I was feel very self conscious and quite depressed. I started making sure I was drinking enough water, bought some Retinol and began facial massage. Then I read about the benefits of Lactic Acid - I read some good reviews on this product, so decided to give it a try. After a patch test, I used it once a week - first time application it felt fine, a very slight tingle but nothing more. I noticed as I washed it off my pores on my cheeks looked more pronounced and a little darker (as if the muck was coming to the surface?) This settled down after an hour or so and my skin appeared brighter. After the second application there was no tingling and I left it on a little longer, the same thing happened to the pores on my cheeks and then afterwards my skin had a lovely sheen to it. After a few days I thought the pores were looking smaller and less noticeable. The application was on longer still with the same outcome...however, three days after my third application I had the shock of my life!! Whilst I had been paying particular attention to the pores on my face and cheeks, the pores on my forehead had gone unnoticed (as I wear a fringe to hide them!) I took a look at them and could not believe what I was seeing! They were hardly noticeable! Of course I know pores will never disappear - we need them! BUT they were much, much smaller and smoother - nothing like the unsightly mess they had been (check out the photos). The pores on my cheeks too are definitely getting smaller and less noticeable. Fine lines are smoothing out and generally my skin is looking brighter. So much so, that I have not been wearing foundation - which for me is a big thing - and I am now considering growing out my fringe! I would definitely urge people to try this product. Do a patch test and go gently, as with everything. Take photos and compare. I love this product and will continue to use it once a week. I feel that, not only does the product on it's own make a difference, but for those using serums, it seems to allow them to get into the skin better and work more effectively. Well done SkinPep!

I actually bought this product so am writing an unbiased review not swayed by free samples, although I did receive some with this purchase. The product was generally gentle on my skin, although I got some on my eyelid which stung a bit, so I am avoiding that area. The product left my skin feeling soft, with more refined pores and generally brighter. I have used it three times now, and it seems to be getting rid of persistent spots. A little goes a long way, and when this tube is finished, I will definitely buy more.

This product is awful it is not a peel ! It's like vaseline in a tube ! Takes no dead skin off, skin did not look any brighter like my experience with other enzyme peels (and for a cheaper price ) .

I was browsing online for a quick fix solution to my dull, tired looking skin and came across Skinpep. I decided to try the £1.99 sachet first and, as I have quite sensitive skin, just used a small amount (in fact the sachet did 3 treatments). The result was a very soft, clearer complexion that seemed to drink in my regular moisturiser and to my delight, a very stubborn flakey patch of skin appeared smoothed and less red. I have been so happy with the result that I have gone on to purchase the larger 15ml tube twice over and will now use this in congunction with my regular skincare whenever my skin needs some extra oomph! I am very fussy about my skincare products and this runs rings around my previous enzymatic exfoliant from a well known luxury brand yet avoids all the hassle and unsightly skin-shedding involved with a salon peel. I have sensitive, dry but congested skin with blackheads. This product is very gentle and does appear to tighten pores but I didn't find it effective enough at clearing blackheads. I've used it 3 times now. If you are new to acid peels, this is a good one to start off with that wont damage your skin or leave you with unsightly peeling. To me, this is not a true peel but is great for sensitive skin that does not have any moderate to significant acne to clear.

MY favrouite peel doesnt hurt very gentle but gives the results i want!! improved my skin drasticalyy it brightened my dull skin and gave it a fresh dewy glow without being so harsh!! LOVEthis company ordered a sample size of this product before and fell in love with it had to order a bigger version! love the fact that they send free samples with most purchases, every product is very good quality and quite cheap i will continue to order this peel and several other products from this company because by the samples i was sent for FREE i just think its amazing. thanks for the free samples i will be ordering more of their products as there products suit my skin so well!! very happy with this purchase hope this helped anyone?! Purchased to clear hyperpigmentation caused by acne. Leaves skin feeling extra smooth (no pores!). No need to apply primer before make up as it smoothes skin out which is a plus. My complexion is improving especially my overall skin tone. Acne marks are fading as well. No need to fuss over measurements like you would making up your own chemical peel as this comes as a premixed gel. A little goes a long way so small 30 ml bottle has lasted me over a month and I use it 3 times a week. Gentle enough to use regularly and no side effects such as further hyperpigmentation seen so far. Received free samples with my purchase and I quite liked their night and day creams with retinol. They creams are light in texture/consistency and so don't feel like I am clogging my pores. Very happy and will definitely order more!
