I have a very nosey Grandmother who doesn't understand what privacy is. She just barges into my room. So without having to get a lock installed I thought I'd try this. So I just wedge this is behind the door and now she struggles to open the door. Can verify it works on nosey Grannies! Probably very good at holding doors open as well I guess!
