The unit came in good packaging, so no parts were damaged or missing. It will adjust to many different heights and lengths to accommodate different workspaces. It required minimal assembly and actually came with spare parts. The magnifier is glass which gives nice clear magnification. The light can be dimmed and changed from cool to warm white and provides nice bright light. It attaches easily to a tabletop using the clamp. The base is also heavy enough to prevent the light from tipping over when at full extension.

I have a passion for miniatures, this magnifying light makes 90% of my projects so much easier! I can see the small details of parts I'm painting so much easier under the magnifying lens, and with the halo light, my hands are never blocking my light. The lights multiple settings are super helpful in any light environment. Heavy base, good springs, multi-positional, the light doesn't get too warm. The helping hands are used constantly on mine, also.Great product.

Product works good magnification is great, there isn't too terrible of distortion in the lens to shift the magnification. The cable is a bit shorter than I would have liked.

I love the lamp and the light. Helping hands work good. Hate the switch on the wire it should be on the light head. Great product for the price.

I like everything about it. heavy weighted plate, bright light, magnifying lens big and clear, adjustable clamps very handy. I keep the clamp screwed lightly so I can easily remove it while I’m painting with the clamp. When I’m done, I set it back into the arm to dry.

I use this magnifier for scroll saw work. It is on the flimsy side. The optics are adequate. The light is nice though I don’t find the controls useful other than on and off. It is sensitive to vibration so I had to make sure it was mounted independently of the scroll saw. I wish the controls were on the light rather than on the cord that dangles below the work surface.
