Practical and easy to use
I had read a bit about spiralizers and decided that at under £20 it was worth trying one for myself. I ordered the Spiralizer on the 29th January and it arrived on the 4th February. When I took it out of the box I was impressed by how compact and sturdy it is - the spare blades store away very neatly. I tried some noodle potatoes with oil, paprika, salt and pepper and baked them in the oven and they were delicious. I used the various blades to prepare a topping for cottage pie and again that worked outvery well. I've also made some apple and cinnamon muffins with spiralized apple which were light and tasty. The Spiralizer is so easy to use as demonstrated by the fact that a non-domesticated person (I really don't enjoy cooking) like myself was up and running with it immediately. I discovered that you need flat ends on your vegetables or hard fruit and also that thin carrots tend to break so use thicker carrots (the little mushroom shaped bits of vegetable or fruit left at the end can be finely chopped and added to the recipe - no waste). I also discovered that you can finely spiralize onions without tears - happy days. I received a follow up email from the company containing a PDF of recipes which was very helpful. My overall observation is that this gadget is a useful addition to my kitchen tools, it is fun to use and will encourage me to add vegetables both cooked and raw to my diet as they are easy to prepare, quick to cook and look attractive.

Does the job, worth the money
Appearance - Sturdy and well made. The suction cup is very handy and as long as your surface is dry and clean, holds down very well.Use - Great for all veg so far. Started with the basics (carrot, courgette, cucumber) and couldn't be happier. Would have liked another blade that is even thicker as I was looking forward to making curly sweet potato fries but they are a little thin even on the biggest blade. Makes salads exciting and easy to make and interesting to have an alternative to pasta. A tad annoying to clean as the juice of a carrot and cucumber literally gets everywhere and of course you have the usual stump of veg leftover but that doesn't bother me.Cost - really happy with the cost of this and definitely worth the money

Easy to use and clean spiralizer
We unpacked our slicer and found a very sturdy, well designed product. All beautifully clean and with Very sharp blades.Of course the first thing we wanted to try was a carrot. It seems everyone does lol. We chose a nice plump trio and tried one on each blade. No problem at all. Great spirals of carrot, excellent in salads, whilst the slicer made for great stews. Courgettes were a dream, we chose a couple from the veggy plot and decided to make courgetti. Easy peasy, and it worked so well as an alternative to spagetti or noodles. We used them as noodles and added them to a fairly moist beef stir fry, adding the courgetti just before you put in the bean sprouts at the end. The results were excellent. Courgetti just a little al-dente, but having soaked up all the stir fry flavours. Our next trial will be some shinny potato fries.....yum.Cleaning was a doddle, all the smooth surfaces make it almost just a whipe over. But hot bubbles work best. Just watch those sharp blades. A real hot rinse, and leave to drip dry.All in all, a great bit of kit.

Good concept,design flaws.
Have used the spiralizer twice. It spiralizes well. Problems are1. Being left handed I have to be a contortionist to use it.Pusher handle should be able to be reversed.2. Have lovely spiralized carrots, but it is difficult to remove staining .(Beetroot)!!!!!! I dread to think!!! Why not black or brown. Not White.3. The spikes on the handle end holder are plastic. 2 have broken after using twice. Surely metal spikes would be the obvious material to use.

Great spirilizer that does what it's made for with ease!
This is the first time I buy a spirilizer and after searching through reviews, I decided to buy this one. I was really glad I did! Assembly was incredibly easy, you only need to remove/insert the plastic that has the blades on, so it was ready to use almost immediately. Then I just put it on the table, pushed it down a little so it wil stay in place and used it. The blades are really sharp and cut through zuchinni, carrots and potatoes with ease (I only got it for a day, so I'll try more in the future)! The center part of the vegetable won't be spiralized, since that's how it stays in place, but becomes a small stick, which I chopped up and cooked, since I don't like to throw away food needlessly. Cleaning also seemed easy to me, I just removed the blade and washed it gently with a brush and used a wet cloth for the rest of the machine. It came with 5 different blades: 2 for thick noodles, 1 for simple spirals (which was already attached when I got it out of the box), 1 for classic noodles and 1 for really thin ones. 2 of the blades were stored at the bottom of the spiralizer, 1 was in place and 2 in a plastic package. The company also sent me an email with contact info and a recipe booklet in pdf format which was nice! Overall it was exactly as advertised!

I have to be honest and thought we will wait and see if it is as good as people say it is
I researched all of the spiralizers on Amazon and other websites before making this purchase. I have to be honest and thought we will wait and see if it is as good as people say it is. I am so so pleased with the spiralizer, I took on board the negative reviews about it and to be honest I have not experienced any difficulties using it at all. It is easy to use, to clean and to store and the vegetables are just fantastic. As a family we eat more vegetables and the kids argue over who will get the bit of apple or cucumber which is left in the spiralizer. there truly is no waste. It is an excellent product and I would have no problem in recommending this to my best friend. I give this product 5 stars! We have used it for butternut squash, cucumber, apples, carrots, courgette and red onion and potatoes spiraliszed and then deep fat fried are a treat!
