as described a lovely mascara and not waterproof just what I wanted as very easy to remove

Lovely mascara - you can't go wrong with Chanel, can you?

I bought it for my wife - the only Chanel mascara product available on Amazon - at a grossly inflated price (I had forgotten to buy one when in John Lewis). She doesn't like it and says it is dry and lumpy, not what she would expect of Chanel - hence the title of this review.

I have searched for a good mascara for years and finally settled on this one. This is not for the dramatic look, rather for a discreet and classy lash enhancement/lengthening with NO clumping whatsoever.

I love the colour and texture but find it a bit harder to put than dior or lancome, need multiple layers. At least it precise!

Bad mascara, big disappointment. When I use it, the lashes stick together. It is too mushy and smells bad.

Supposed to be brown black it is just brown

I've loved and used this product for too many years to count, however the mascara I'd received from this seller is somehow so watered-down that not only does it barely coat lashes, but also takes an unusual time to dry. It's very much like when your mascara starts to run out and you add some remover to extend its life. Hard pill to swallow at this price.
