The Jasgood nylon, canvas belt is a good belt at a very reasonable price. I ordered one in tan and then immediately ordered another in black.What I like about it is: the belt itself is strong and will last; you can adjust the length of the belt; it has an elastic strap that will hold any excess length (or you can remove the strap); the buckle is easy to close and open.This is not a dressy belt but will look good with jeans or casual pants. I usually wear my casual shirts out so the belt is really just doing its job. I wear mine with colored (gray, tan, black) jeans.Many others have commented about the buckle. The buckle on both of my Jasgood belts are wearing just fine, plus each belt ships with a spare buckle.

I love this belt and wear it every day. It's almost perfect, but I guess plastic fatigue from daily wear takes a toll eventually (about a year) and it breaks, see photos. I guess this is why it comes with two buckles. For the price and comfort, I'll keep buying it, but it would be even better if it the buckle didn't break.

Edit:I've changed my mind on this belt for the better. The plastic buckle caught me by surprise, but I decided to use it anyway.The buckle is sturdy and has no issues. It keeps the belt in place, and is lightweight.I recommend going a size bigger since you can always trim the belt.After my original review, the manufacturer offered to refund my money, but I'm declining and keeping the belt.Original:The buckle is cheap plastic. will do the job, but I'd rather buy something higher quality.

I bought my first two Jasgood belts in August of 2018, a black one and a brown one. I wear the black one nearly every day and have since I bought it. When they came, they each came with a second buckle (they are plastic or Nylon) with a sticker that said "Gift" on them and I thought, "Great, these are so cheap, they probably break in a week." Nope. I've never needed them.I've also never needed to buy a replacement and only recently bought another Jasgood belt because I wanted a different color. I will soon add three photos, of the buckle, the middle back where leather belts tend to get bend and wear badly (the Jasgood is barely flexed there) and the tip of the belt. I wear this belt 3+ days a week and have since I bought it in 2018.Buy a longer length than you need because you can cut it down to fit and if you buy it too short you will have to return it or give it to someone smaller than you. They are infinitely adjustable, so you could leave it long and just have a long "tongue" hanging out of the buckle if you thought you were going to get bigger (say if it was only a little large and it was for a growing child, for example).They come with an elastic loop to retain the belt tip also, but you can actually leave this off and just use a loop of the pants you are wearing if you prefer. I cannot recommend these belts highly enough for durability and comfort. They are extremely light and strong. You won't even know you're wearing it. There are many brands that look similar, but I can't speak for them, I have only bought, and will only ever buy, JASGOOD.

When buying belt, err on the side of too big. If it says “Fit for pant size under 34” and you wear a 33, choose the next size up (“Fit for pant size under 40”). Now, I have to send it back and exchange for a bigger size and I was going to wear it to work Saturday.The “dark grey” is actually a light grey on one side, black on the other.If it fit, and the color was as described, the belt would be worth 5 stars.

I bought this in 2019. Held up great. Simple and durable. For the price you can’t beat it. Still using it.

Honestly one of the best belts I've ever owned. I liked it so much I bought a second within a week of buying the first.. Im writing this review months after owning them both and they are both in great condition. Strong build, good material, and well designed. The belts adjust within millimeters of desired size, and lock in and hold. I use it backpacking, and for everyday wear. Only thing to note is that it is a canvas belt, so don't expect it to look like a dress belt. Its a utility/cargo belt that looks good for everyday wear.
