I LOVE this syrup. It is very sweet and you can taste the chocolate. However the chocolate taste is not really strong and if you do not like sugary sweet this syrup is not for you. It is a large bottle and will flavor a lot of coffees.

Gives a nice flavour to your coffee, not very chocolatey but a nice taste. But although it has no sugar it’s very sweet.

I've already got about 6 different Syrups by the same makers, and I tried the Black Forest Syrup in my Freshly ground Bean to Cup Coffee and believe me when I tell you, it's absolutely beautiful and a very good quality range of Syrups.I've just received the Chocolate Syrup which is a really dark syrup, as you would expect it to be with chocolate syrup, I haven't tried it yet, but I think it's gonna be just as amazing as the Black Forest syrup isBut yeah, *Watch this space*.I can with 100% certainty that I can and do Very Highly Recommend these High Quality Syrups, and haven't quite bought all the different syrups that they've got in the Full Range, and they are 100% worth the couple extra quid or so for each syrup. They've also got a great seletion of syrups to choose from. But yeah, I haven't finished yet, cos I won't stop buying them until I have got all they have in the range👍🤣.

Absolutely love sugar free simply syrups. This one was not a disappointment. Purchased for hot chocolate, but I've even had it in coffee and it's lovely. Very sweet, tastes exactly as the title describes. Yum.

Very sweet and not much flavour if having it in drinks.

If you're someone used to living their life eating/drinking healthier alternatives then this is the best chocolate syrup ever! I AM used to sweeteners rather than sugar and have been for 30 of my 39 years and this is the best chocolate flavouring I've ever had. I only ordered it last week for the first time and was put off by the reviews here and thought it was going to be awful so I'm leaving my review to reassure those of you in a similar state of mind. Today my husband made coffee and asked if I wanted syrup (which I always do 🐽) so I said surprise me. What I got blew me away! I asked what he'd put in it as it was like nectar from the gods! It was the perfect mocha, frothy top, the taste was absolutely delicious. Now I have some other chocolate syrups as well as a vast array of other flavours too, each with their own unique taste. Monin for the more expensive brand uses about 4 times as much as I take in any other syrup and I asked my husband whether he'd used half the bottle of this to get it so perfect, that half and half choco coffee flavour and he said he had used just 2 teaspoons of it, the same as I would have of sweeteners. Unbelievable.Honestly. If you are USED to sugar free then this is amazing. I tasted some on a spoon and I can't taste the aftertaste everyone talks about but then I can't with many of them because over 3 decades of my life have got me used to not eating and taking in excess sugar or fat etc - yes very dull but there you go. It is honestly the best value for a litre ever and the best tasting chocolate that isn't real actual melting chocolate ever.If you're one of the people not used to sweetener in place of sugar I can't speak for you although my husband said it was nice as well and you definitely don't need a lot before your coffee is more chocolate than mocha as he had 3 spoons in his and it was very chocolatey.So, don't hesitate any longer this is for you... Just don't buy too many so there's none left for me to refill on as I can see this going quickly into my overnight oats and yoghurt. Nom! Happy choccing! X

This is disgusting, disgustingly sickly sweet tasting, watery, not syrupy at all, and more importantly there is not a hint of chocolate taste, it tastes as much of chocolate as a sock does.Do you people know what chocolate tastes like? I mean seriously?!Don’t waste your money on this. Please.
