JVL Over door utility clothes washing laundry dryer balcony airer

Excellent product, so compact and can take a fair mount of clothes. Extremely easy to assemble, foldable and easy to store. I have been using it for several months and the paint is still good and no rusting. I am very pleased with it!

I bought these, as I thought the price was good. They arrived sooner than expected and in good condition. An absolutely nightmare to get out of the shrink wrap though! I have put one over my radiator at the bottom of the stairs and two on doors. I should point out that these, when unfolded, stick out quite far, so if you are tight for space and are hoping that these will be the answer, then perhaps I would look at something else. At first glance the seem quite flimsy, but I have hung full loads with jeans, towels and sweatshirts on them and they have not buckled at all. The spacing is good, meaning that the air can get between the laundry and dry it quickly, have had full airer of tops and t shirts dry within hours. They fold up flat when not needed, so don't take up much space when not in use. For the price I paid I am happy, as I was contemplating getting one over door airer that actually cost more than the three of these together.

This item arrived before expected date, but was bent and out of shape, this clearly occured during transit and delivery. Seller quickly offered to replace item, but I was going away, so they kindly offered a discount. I love this item, it seems flimsy and occasionally comes apart, but is easily reassembled. Whether set up over door or on radiator it performs really well, and its ability to come apart enabled me to fit over an open window without having to remove window locks. I have placed a kingsize duvet cover, fitted and flat sheets, 4 pillow cases and two hand towels on this airer, with no problem. Also great for those items that need to be dried flat. Stores away easily too. I subsequently bought another more expensive airer, costing £21+, but after its first use, I returned it and immediately bought another one of these JVL, so now have two!

We ordered this to go over the door to hang our towels, a word to the wise, it is too long to hang over a doorway and then clear the circumference the door needs to swing shut. So you'd need to put it either on a door you don't use very much, or on some cupboard somewhere. We tried to put it on the radiator, but it stretched half way down the radiator so didn't give much clearance at all between the radiator and the ground. The metal frame feels flimsy and has already bent despite the fact we have barely even managed to hang a sock on it while we find a place to be be able to hang it. so... maybe shop around before you commit to this one. It isn't terrible.... just not really all that great either.

We already have an over-the-door hanger, but it’s only good for light stuff. If you try to put something like a jumper, jeans, or a towel on it, it just buckles and falls down. This one, on the other hand, is super strong and can hold a ton of items, and it even has an extension! You can use it with the door closed, which is a big plus compared to our old one. It’s a great deal for the price, it arrived super fast, and I had no trouble unwrapping it. I haven’t used the extension yet because the space we have just isn’t big enough for it.

Find this very useful. I use it mostly for socks, underwear, tops and hand towels. I don't need a clothes horse anymore which it bulky and ugly, I am able to use this item and radiators (one person in household), would recommend for a single person. Also can fold up not taking up much room when storing. Only annoying this is when taking it off it the radiator, the handles come off at the joint, but is very easy to rectify.

Brought this to hang over the banister. Fits well and does a great job. Now it's out of the way, rather than the clothes horse I have sitting in the lounge.
