Playmobil Dollhouse 5167 Take Along Modern Dollhouse, 4 years and older

My daughter spends hours playing with this and so it was a great buy. It is a self contained set and can be shut away with all the contents inside. The handle is brilliant as she can carry it around when shut and the clips to close it are sturdy, although sometimes the hinges have popped open (but this is easily solved by pushing them back together). It comes with so many little extras which make it such a worth while toy and so much fun to play with. I would say that the rooms are not overly large and so when all the items are put in it is a bit of a squash to play with. This is particularly the case with the kitchen and living room. It could have been a tiny bit wider/deeper. However, when it is opened out you can play on the table or floor space in front of the rooms and let the action spill out of the house! It may also have been nice to have a door that opened to the front, however I can see that it would not have been so self contained and transportable if they had done that. We have had other large Playmobil sets and have found that bits fall apart when it is moved or knocked and once this starts to happen the children have become frustrated and have not wanted to play with it, so this is great in that it will remain a whole object and can be returned to with no issue. It is also great in terms of tidying it away. With other sets once they are put away they tend to become a mass of little bits of Playmobil.

I bought this for my 2 and a half year old daughter last Christmas. It's very well made, as I've come to expect from Playmobil products - It's sturdy, hard wearing and definitely toddler-proof! I like the fact that it's not pink like so many dolls houses are too, and can be easily moved around by the handle. There are so many accessories included, even down to little toothbrushes, food, and plates, that my daughter has lots of fun creating tons of scenarios and changing rooms around. There are some very tiny pieces included so be wary if your child likes to put things in their mouth! We kept the smallest things aside and introduced them when our daughter turned 3. There are lots of stickers to apply when setting up, so it may be worth doing this before wrapping it up, if it's a gift. This is a high quality, brilliant value toy, that my daughter still plays with daily, after a year. I absolutely recommend this doll house.

this is a very good toy and a perfect balanced quality/price rapport. As mentioned by other reviewers it is sturdy, comes in his original packaged inside an amazon box, basic furniture sets but the kitchen which is actually the only room with lots of extra pieces, like a quite good amount of food, two pans, 3 plates, glasses, jugs, coffee/tea set, and cutlery. Playmobil offer a good amount of extra room sets to buy separately at affordable prices, but honestly, it won't be necessary, unless your kid is really into it. The only flaw I found is the upper rooms are tricky as their shape is not rectangular as the ones on the lower level. The doll house is compact and does not take much space at all, good and easy to store and carry around. I certainly recommend it. However do not expect to get a full size doll house, they are much more expensive.

I bought this for my little grandson because he is beginning to enjoy pretend play and it didn't look too 'girlie'. The number of bits of furniture and equipment is quite amazing - even down to a toilet brush and a dog basket! Most of the pieces of furniture have to be put together which is a job for an older child or adult and the amount of detail is remarkable - opening draws and cupboard doors etc. I may regret bringing this into the house as I suspect all the little bits and pieces will get scattered far and wide. In this way it may suit a little girl better as I feel the average girl has more aptitude for organising and more interest in finer detail than the average boy. Nevertheless it is very good value and should provide hours of entertainment.

I bought this for Christmas for my five year old grandson, yes grandson - no gender stereotyping in my family! Both he and I were delighted with it. I've bought Playmobil for my daughters and grandchildren before and am always extremely satisfied with the quality and detail and this house was no exception. For the money it contained a lot of items of furniture and figures making it good value. There was a limited amount of putting together and sticker applying best done or supervised by an adult but it wasn't troublesome. There is a leaflet with diagrams to explain how things go. I thought the addition of puppies, bed and bowl was a nice touch. There are plenty of accessories; for example food for the fridge, plates, glasses etc to encourage imaginative play. All the little bits can be stored in the house which closes and has a carry handle. This is a great buy for the money for any 4-8 year old.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 3 years old and she loves it so much! She has been playing independently for over half and hour (every toddlers parent knows how difficult it is to get them to play with something longer than 5min). She has been making up stories with the 3 little people provided and used all the accessories, from brushing their teeth to making them sit down to watch telly, to preparing lunch in the kitchen. High recommended. Only downside is that she knocks a lot of things off when playing, as it is a fairly small house, but it is not frustrating her putting stuff back so all good

where to start...I have bought 2 of these now one for my daughter (3) and one for my granddaughter (6) I think personally that a 3 year old is abit young as there are lots of small bits like cutlery etc in the house (ive put it away till next year) but my granddaughter loves her!! playmobil stuff is always fab but they have excelled on this one!! its jam packed full of people,furniture everything and the beauty of it is it can all be put inside the house when finished with and closed up,it has a carry handle on the roof so its a take anywhere toy..handy for visits to grandmas house etc. for what you are getting the price is amazing...my GD plays for hours with it. I highly recommend this toy xx

Trae un montón de accesorios. Fáciles de montar pero con un sin fin de pegatinas. Mejor ponerlas todas y luego envolver para regalo si el niño es pequeño o terminará todo hecho un caos. Las instrucciones son más que mejorables, pero con paciencia y mirando la foro de la caja (y sin un niño revolviendolo todo al mismo tiempo) puedes terminar en unos minutos. Queda recogido y genial para niños pequeños y da bastante juego para mover las figuras dentro de la casa con los muebles. Una muy buena opción tanto para pequeños como para niños más mayores, para que se entretengan con las pegatinas y personalizando la decoración. Al menos los electrodomésticos son modernos (la televisión y eso), tiene una cantidad sorprendente de vajilla y el detalle del papel higiénico y la escobilla del váter es genial. Muy recomendable

My 2.5 year old daughter has been showing a lot of interest in doll houses lately so I bought this to give to her for Christmas. I chose this one firstly because we love Playmobil and have several products by them that are just great! Also comparable doll houses are more expensive and come with NOTHING! This doll house comes with so many pieces its crazy! The whole thing doubles as storage and locks up with a latch. The rooms are small and might pose difficulty manovering the people, but I also don't think my kid is going to mind. I decided to open it up and assemble it before wrapping it for Christmas. Some assembly is required and is very easy. It come with a visual diagram on how to put some pieces together. I had a lot of fun looking at every thing and cant wait for her to play with it! Une petite maison transportable et vraiment complète. Ma fille a bien grandi depuis mais je l'ai conservée pour avoir un jouet qui traverse les âges quand des amis viennent avec leurs enfants

Casa de excelente tamaño, muchos accesorios con mucho detalle, la cocina, sala y baño muy bien detallados, la recamara es la mas sencilla, inclusive le falta una cama mas grande, la calidad es buenísima, la casa cerrada de buen tamaño, cabe en un closet pequeño o entrepaños de closet, se cierra perfectamente para no dejar que los accesorios pequeños se pierdan, eso se agradece del juguete alemán. Por el precio es mucho mas de lo que se espera, a los niños les encanta, es una temática básica de Juego.

I have 5 of them so far to gift it to my friends and family’s kids. They all loved it. I recommend it.
