Sundried BPA Free Leakproof Outdoor, Sports, Fitness & Gym Water Bottle 750ml

I got this for my son and he uses it at school. Here's what we thought:Pros:-Really good looking, the bottle is very clear even after 2 years of constant usage-The plastic is very tough and will withstand many accidental drops-Easy to hold and is lightweight-Easy to clean-Great for school!-Lasts for a long timeCons:-Requires cleaning as it is transparent-When turning the lid, it does make quite a lot of noise. However, this can be avoided with cautious use.Overall, a good buy and great value for money!

Great product

The photos don't really do the bottle justice. It looks great. A lot better than a plastic bottle really should look. The plastic is so shiny and smooth that you'll probably stare at it for ages in amazement like I did. The bottle feels durable and good quality, it doesn't collapse in the middle when you squeeze it like some cheaper bottles. I was definitely impressed with the quality of the bottle at this price.After using the bottle for some time it is still in great condition. The outside of the bottle has got scratched but it hasn't cracked or dented after being dropped on the floor numerous times. The bottle can really take a ridiculous amount of abuse. If like me you leave bottles in the bottom of your rucksack or rolling around in the foot well of the car, then you can do so without worrying about this bottle getting damaged. Most importantly though it doesn't leak. The red rubber seal does a great job at keeping the water inside. After numerous bottles that leaked inside my rucksack I have finally found one that I can carry around all day without getting a bag full of damp stuff.I'm not really one for drinking fruit squash but on the rare occasion that I have put juice inside the bottle it doesn't develop a funny taste afterwards. The bottle doesn't go soft when it gets hot like some plastics do. So on one occasion when I had forgotten my travel mug I put some coffee inside it. It worked surprisingly well although I did get some weird looks. You can even turn the lid upside down and use it as a small cup to drink from. It's easy to wash out by hand or you can put it in the dishwasher. From time to time I put some boiling water into the bottle straight from the kettle. This seems to work well to sterilize the inside of the bottle and keep it from getting smelly.There are a couple of problems with the bottle which is why I have subtracted one star. Firstly the lid makes a loud squeaky sound sometimes. It's fine in a noisy gym but not so much when you're in a quiet sauna and you have to explain to people that the sound didn't come from your bottom. Secondly, it is hard to dry out the inside of the bottle. The narrow neck means that even after a long period of time on a draining rack there's always a bit of water trapped inside. It's fine if you're using the bottle regularly but not the best if you're not going to use the bottle for a while. Lastly, the design of the bottle means that for a sports bottle it's not good for running or cycling. You have to unscrew the lid to drink so you can't just take a sip on the go as you need 2 hands to use the bottle.

update 1 year later.In total I think I have bought at least 6 of these bottles for friends and families. Of the 4 that we have as a family none have developed any mould on them. This includes one that still had water in it and was according to my son lost whilst at Judo but was found 4 months later under his bed. I have dropped mine several times with no damage. I have since bought other bottles, one that you could open one handed, loved it because of that function, slipped out of my hand bounced on the floor and split ! Bought another bottle slightly bigger 1L that can open one handed but when you drink out of it the lid hits your nose and there's a catch that hits your chin. In the end I keep on coming back to this bottle.Everyone who sees this bottle loves it. It's looks elegant, lovely and sophisticated. I have had no issues with splits , cracks smell or mould. I have even taken this to the dessert in excess of 40C , no tarnish or discolouration. I was afraid that it would or that the rubber would degrade, nothing of the sort. None of the ones I have bought have leaked either. In fact the only thing I haven't done to this bottle is pour boiling hot water into it, nor have I have frozen it solid yet ....In fact the only negatives points are that you need Two hands to open it . However maybe because of that I have never dropped one unlike all the other ones twice or three times the price which I've bought that I could open one handed. The only other issue is that I wish it had some kind of wrist strap , yet again all the ones that I have dropped and broken that were far more expensive all had wrist straps ! This also has never leaked unlike a lot of the others costing twice more than this !People do tend to steal these if you leave it unattended, my first went missing within a week of taking it to work. Hence me getting an extra one. . The only thing really I could say that would perhaps be a possible improvement is to slightly narrower the middle of the bottle slightly more .For the price , the Utility , the robustness and longevity of this product . Buy it even just to use for a week rather than buying plastic bottles of water at the shops.
