I've been using one of these for several weeks for our large dog who occupies the back seat and it is excellent - no sign of the metal going out of shape and jamming in the seat belt anchoring as I have read other attachments do. It fastens easily to the dog's harness and seems strong although I haven't had to fully test it yet with an emergency stop and I am hoping not to have to!.

We've used them in conjunction with chains so the dogs are harnessed in two places, but they are up to the job and feel well-made enough to last.

We got these because using the car seat belt in conjunction with his travel harness just pinned our little lad to the upright of the back seat, making him quite literally immobile. Dog Seat Belt gives him just that little bit of movement without him becoming the proverbial loose cannon. He hates being in the car, at the best of times, and trussing him up, which was in effect exactly what the car seat belt does, didn't help him appreciate any journey, no matter how exciting the destination. He is much more comfortable with these (one stays in the car he usually travels in and because it does, staying clipped into the receiver, it's an awful lot easier to use than the car seat belt, with the other coming serving as the spare whenever another vehicle comes into service). He is a much happier puppy when travelling now and if Eddie's happy, so are we. Have to say this is quite possibly the best odd and end we've bought for Eddie. Money very well spent and highly recommended.

These are fantastic as the dog gets a little freedom whilst being safe. They are adjustable therefore its up to you how much your dog is restricted. Easy to use.

I can not recommend this product at all in my view not fit for purpose at allFirst trip since purchase of 15 minutes to the vet for a 6 month check up for our Labrador and completely destroyed as per photoI’ve given it one star as the system won’t let me go no stars !!!!

Excellent service, arrived nice and quick. Works perfectly in my car, together with a well known brand of harnesses. I know my dog is secure thanks to this extremely well made product.
