Water the seeds twice a day.
Great seeds ease to use. Quick germination rate and effectiveness. I would definitely recommend them. Water the ground first, the sow the seeds. Ensure you water twice a day morning and evening during the dry season. The pictures show Day 1, Day 5 and Day 11. Great colour.

Good quality seed and good price
I had been using more expensive grass seed but was finding it expensive, bought this big bag as it was a good price and it has lasted so much longer. It’s actually nicer grass than the more expensive one I was buying. Good thickness, lush, covers well and a rich colour. I have more seeding to do and I will be purchasing again. Thumbs up!

Quick to grow! (In April/May)
Now this is the way to a fantastic lawn. Very economical compared to turfing. Within 4 weeks having sown at the end of April the grass has really kicked on and is growing very well (see photo). Although Titchmarsh says you shouldn't need to water grass seed in the UK there has been little rain over the past month so my lawn has been watered nightly. Lush green colour and very consistent. Prepared with a rotorvator and added sharp sand and mushroom compost before rotorvating again, adding much needed organic matter to what is normally damp soil. My garden is partially shaded due to neighbouring houses, but this grass seed appears to be happy in partially shaded areas, albeit those ares are taking a little longer to establish than those in good day long sunlight. I think the mushroom compost has done the trick and is very cheap as a fertiliser. There is plenty of seed left over to add with top dressing in the autumn and next spring, my lawn is about 80sq m and I have overseeded my front lawn of a further 30sq m. Using only about half the bag (I probably used too much anyway) All in all I would recommend this seed for a new lawn. Edit: the second photo I have added shows the lawn after 6 weeks growth. Knitting in nicely and steadily the patches are filling in. I cannot understand those reviewers who have not seen any growth, but I assume soil conditions have much to do with how results pan out and the extra time I took to condition and prepare the soil has paid off. How to reseed your garden - hope it helps!
Hey folks, putting this in to help anyone who is reseeding for the first time. Over the last few years weeds a he really taken over my lawn ie more weed than grass! Sorry I don’t have a before picture. But it was really brown and horrible! 1. I used the 4 in 1 product that feeds your grass but kills weeds. I followed the instruction on how much per square metre. Remember that if it doesn’t rain after a day or so, water it to get in breaking down and doing its thing. 2. Left it a few days. Once it started to kill the weeds it looked the worst ever as the weeds that occupied most of the lawn area were dieing off. It was more brown earth than anything else. Don’t worry though, it’s part of the process. 3. Then scarified the lawn. Don’t worry, this simply means using a rake, the type that have fanned out prongs and running it thoroughly across all your garden and then picking up all the dead grass and weeds. If like me you will be surprised how much it loosens. I won’t kid you, it’s a good workout if you have a good sized garden. But essential! So just do it :-) 4. Then I airated the space. Don’t worry, this is using a garden fork to create 3-4 cm holes all over your lawn. Again, depending on the size of your area this can be a bit of a workout, but you guessed it, it’s essential cos when you sow the seeds, they will need to penetrate the surface. Of course you can hire equipment that will both scarify and airate your garden without any sweat so up to you re your budget and if you like a workout! 5. Ok, now you need to look at the specific areas of your garden that need seeding. In those areas loosen each area with your fork. When this is done use either top soil or general compost, I used compost and sprinkle it over the top of the areas you’re working on. 6. Then it’s time to seed. Following the the stated square metre amounts to sow, sow your grass seeds. I used garden canes to rough out the square metres as I worked down the garden. 7. Once done, using your trusty fork again work the seed into the compost. 8. I then gently stamped the compost down so it was relatively flat. 9. Ok, nearly there. Another mandatory action! You HAVE TO keep the seeded area moist for a good 5-7 days, CONSTANTLY MOIST. Think this may be where some folk fall down and then find the seed hasn’t germinated. So water it all over and check it 3 x per day if you can, especially of course if there are no rain downpours. I did it at the worst time of year - this hot summer!! So, I was constantly watering, I bought a sprinkler and kept moving it around! 10. In my case, after 5-6 days little gras shoots started appearing. I cannot tell you what a relief that was after all the work! 11. I kept watering for another week or so and then exaggerated because of the constantly hot summer, continued a bit longer but not as intensive as originally. I hope that helps novices like me. I looked at loads of videos before I did it. Good luck!!

Didn’t grow
Unfortunately after seeding we had some very wet weather and I think this had something to do with it not coming.
