Great product

Bought this in September and should have written a review sooner. The condition of this package when received was deplorable. More than half of one of the Safeguard gallon bottles, (neither of which had sealed tops nor were in plastic bags) spilled out into the box. I think the only reason the second bottle didn't open up is that the cap end was so jammed against the side of the box it couldn't move. Everything was full of soap including 2 soap dispensers also ordered. After I saw how much had spilled, there was no question the liquid hand soap would be returned. It took an entire roll or more of paper towels to clean the box of the spilled liquid soap (I had to use the same box to return) and then turn on a fan for hours to dry it as much as possible. I was so worried that the box would break in transit going back to Amazon that I used tons of clear packing tape to secure it. I understand that things have been tough for months and perhaps Amazon has a limited crew. BUT there should be a better way to package liquids so that they won’t leak. This was just an awful mess and frankly I’m really surprised at Amazon for not setting standards on how to ship this type of item.

This is my favorite hand soap refill. I first bought it about five years ago and have continued using it since then. The thickness is substantial and not watery. I also like the nice, but not overwhelming, fragrance.

REGARDING THE PRODUCT: In these times when sanitizing products are in short supply, it's a pleasure to find a decent antibacterial hand soap at a reasonable price. After reading the negative reviews about leakage and unpleasant fragrance, I took a chance because I know P&G and Safeguard products. I am not disappointed! While not a "perfume," the fragrance is pleasant and "clean" and the consistency of the soap is perfect for a pump dispenser, not watery but not too thick either. As the instructions on the label state, you only need about a teaspoonful to work up a rich, creamy lather that cleans and sanitizes your skin, leaving your hands feeling soft and smooth. I will definitely purchase this product again. FOR AMAZON: My only negative feedback is for your handlers regarding the packaging. Fortunately, only one of the two soap containers leaked slightly, but that might not have happened at all if your outer carton had been marked with "This side up" and "Handle with care" labels. I didn't know which was the "up" side until I opened the Amazon carton and saw the labeling on the P&G carton inside. The soap container leaked because I had the package turned on its side and the containers do not have a seal under their caps.
