I used this switch to attach the power cable to my guitar foot pedal board power supply. This allows me to turn off the board without having to unplug it or turn off my power brick that powers other equipment. The switch works fine for this purpose fitting the standard 9v connectors used by more guitar equipment.

Some devices, with power supplies, still draw electricity when turned off. You know, the ones you either unplug, or use a power bar to control. This switch can be plugged directly into the device, to be easy to reach, and compact enough to reduce the clutter of long wires behind it

I was seeking AT LEAST 3 FT - 6 FT options. There's NO purpose to have a switch adapter so small... we can simply unplug it if we need to have it right beside us anyway... without added length, the switch simply isn't really necessary.
