Worked great, easy repair, hood no longer comes smashing down on me randomly when up.

Hood fell on me like 3 times and messed me up. Started using a 2x4 but get in the way of me working somtimes so figured id try these. Intalling these were super easy, and once they were on they held up the hood really well, even just 1 shock is enough to hold up the hood. Only issue i had, which had nothing to do with this product, was getting the old ones off. I was picking at the little spring clip on each one for about 20 minutes before i could get all 4 of them to lift up and pop off. Good price and totally worth it to not have to deal with a crappy hood/risk of hood falling on you.

Has saved my head from knots and has held up and was very easy to install. I would buy again if they ever fail.

IT FIRS E90 328i I saw a review that said it doesnt fit a 2007 328xi which is the exact same car i got Yes it does fit, you just have to pull the little metal tab out a little bit, thats basically what “locks it” in place You will never get it in if you dont pop that tab off the way So far so good Lenght is correct. They are strong enough so far.
