Fenix PD36R Pro High Lumen Tactical Flashlight, 2800 Lumen Dual Rear Switches USB-C Rechargeable with Battery and Lumentac Organizer

I love flashlights and this is a great one. These are very powerful flashlights that fit easily in the hand, and do not require fumbling around to find the two control buttons, as both are in the end cap, are large and easily distinguished . The two button arrangement makes it very easy to turn on and select the power level you want. The two lowest powers are both useful and do not seem to drain the battery very quickly. We live in an area with many animals, and the higher powers pick up reflections from eyes in the forest if you hold the device close to your own eyes. The highest power is stunning, but caution is needed. It would be dangerous store this device in a way the buttons might accidentally be pushed, and not be noticed, such as in a backpack. At high power, a great deal of heat is generated very quickly, and I have little doubt that it could damage plastics or paper next to the light if left on for more than a few seconds. The USB C charging connection is very convenient. It charges surprisingly fast. The rubber cover for the charging port seems a bit fragile, but I have had no problems with it so far. The belt holster is necessary and adequate. I would not carry the device in a pants pocket.

Great quality! Very bright on highest setting. Love the solid feeling of the light. I also like the tail switch and the buttons are solid. Charges fast,too.

Incredible construction quality, it has nice heft, but it's compact so it's not clunky. Fits perfectly on the outside of my pocket with the clip, and has excellent feel in my hand. Carrying it properly (overhand), you have easy access to the buttons on the back, which make a satisfying clicking sound when you press them, but which are also difficult to accidentally press. Only issue is the case that it comes with, it is a mild nuisance to put it back in, but you don't necessarily have to use the case if you don't want. Functionality-wise, this is a huge winner. Battery being USB-C rechargable is a huge plus. First time charging it, it took around 2-3 hours to charge, and that was a week ago, and I haven't even run halfway through the battery I don't think. It is also easily the most powerful flashlight I've ever owned, I was not prepared for the highest setting, and not only is it bright enough to light up a room easily if you wanted to do that, but it casts for a very long distance. Overall, pretty espensive at 120 USD, but it is such a well designed and high performing flashlight, that I think it's going to be worth every penny. At this price, hoping it gives me at least 5 years of EDC use, and I would he extremely happy with this purchase.

I had the older model 12 years old with almost daily use as part of an EDC that was probably somewhere around 1000 lumens. I literally used that one as a hammer more times than I can count. Outside of breaking the glass on it (still use it to this day without issues and in the wet), its been perfect. This replacement seems every bit as durable, has a larger battery, and is substantially brighter in a side by side. It is a bit larger then the old one. But easily fits in the little side pockets of carpenter style pants. All light functions are on the tail cap. On, off, and dim modes. This thing absolutely gets very hot when on for a while! Power of the sun in the palm of your hand! It is to be expected and on cold dark days when working outside, a brief period of warmth in your hand is awesome!

Great flashlight for the shop. For a quick trouble shoot inspection this is the perfect accessory to get you started. Clips on your belt too. And no batteries, just recharge via USB. So much easier.

I own a Fenix PD35 2020 edition and it has held up amazingly but I wanted an upgrade. This is an upgrade for sure. Pros: Extremely bright, has a nice hotspot and outer light edge. Rear has dual buttons thats much better than the shaft button (like on PD35) so no accidental strobe triggers USB-C charging with waterproof port Cons: This thing is about 1.5x bigger in width than the PD35. (This isn't really a con to me but was a surprise when I got it out of the box) It is not an 18650 (does come with its own battery) - Sorry 18650 users Overall thoughts: Well worth the money. VERY sturdy build like all Fenix products and I have had no issues so far. Very happy!

My police officer husband bought this for on duty. He also uses it at home if we need light. It gets BRIGHT… i mean, you can see the WHOLE room when it’s on the highest setting. He really likes it and it was worth the money. It’s easy to carry, slightly weighted, and great quality. It fits in his pocket/vest as needed as well.

Nicht ganz günstig, aber jeden Cent wert. Ich habe genau diese Lampe aufgrund mehrerer übereinstimmender Renzensionen von Security-Leuten gekauft, die jeden Tag mit diesen Lampen zu tun haben. Viele Hersteller / Anbieter übertreffen sich gegenseitig mit aberwitzigen Lumen-Werten ihrer Lampen. Ein simpler Test im stockfinsteren Wald bringt im wahrsten Sinne Licht in die Sache. Diese Lampe hier ist richtig hell im Vergleich zu angeblich lumenstärkeren Konkurrenten. Auch die Verarbeitung, Bedienung und Haptik sind 1A. Klare Empfehlung.

The brightness level is as advertised. The lite appears very well made and is easy to use. I have never had a lite with the options to increase the lite intensity, as this one is. If you are into flashlites, this is a good one to have

Bought this torch for hiking and general use around the house. It's very bright, even on lowest setting it provided plenty of light to hiking on a trail. Worth the price.
