This was super easy to do, I would definitely suggest watching a few video tutorials before application. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars I think the activator should be applied twice; after dip and after buffing and shaping nails. This helps the gel top dry faster instead of absorbing into the nail if there wasn’t enough activator applied. Hope this helps someone 😊

I bought this because I am a mom of 2 special needs children and I don’t have time for much “self-care” these days. I used to have my nails done regularly. Since I can’t do that anymore, I wanted to try to do something for myself—but I always seem to have to do something that will mess up my nail polish before it could dry so I needed something that would not take forever to dry. This product was quick drying and had great reviews so I figured I’d give it a try. Application was very easy and instructions are straight forward. Like many others, my first application wasn’t as pretty as I would have liked, but not bad enough to remove them. Unbeknownst to me at the time, I wouldn’t have to wait long to remove them. The first nail cracked a few hours after application. I assumed that I must have done something wrong and looked up reasons powder dip nails would crack. A week later, I tried again, carefully avoiding all of the errors that would cause cracking. A couple of hours after the second application, my first nail crack showed up. Within 2-3 days, I had to remove them because they were looking pretty rough. It took several months for me to actually have time to use this kit, so I hate that I didn’t realize sooner…I’m not even sure if it’s an item that can be returned, but I would have considered it. I am all for quality over quantity, and while this may be a inexpensive solution for someone who wants to glam up for a one night event and remove the next day, it is not going to hold up for a couple of weeks like salon powder dip does. If that’s what you’re looking for, you may want to try a different powder dip. At the end of the day, I can’t be upset. You get what you pay for. 3 stars because initially, the results are beautiful, but it doesn’t last.

I’ve always wanted to try an at-home dip powder because I don’t want to wait for regular nail polish to dry, gel always tends to peel on me (or I’ll start picking at it as time goes on), and getting my nails done all the time is out of my budget for me right now. Ive always liked doing my nails, but I’ve been looking for something long lasting.I spend a good amount of time shaping my nails because I’m very picky about that. But once I was done doing that, I followed the directions which were laid out super easily. Once I got the hang of the timing in between with my first hand, my second hand went much faster and smoother. For my first time doing it, I’m very happy with the result and am eager to see how it holds up and for how long.The directions really are fool proof! I definitely recommend this if you’re new to dip powder.

The base and top coat have a very strong chemical smell and it made me extremely sick. After doing my nails about an hour later i experienced coughing, stuffy nose, sneezing all flu like symptoms. I didn’t put the connection together that it was this that was making me sick until I only experienced those symptoms after doing my nails. This stuff is very very dangerous especially if you suffer with bronchial issues. I strongly advise against using this specific product.

Love this brand. I think it is probably the best for beginners considering the price and the quality of the brand. I have used several others and this brand is my favorite. It’s so easy to use and apply! The color I did was the light pink from the “B-Skin Tone” set. The picture was taken a day after I did them, but after doing quite a few dishes. I am very rough on my hands and other brands have chipped on me during my dish routine! The plastic bottle may feel a bit cheap but in my opinion, it prevents the cap from sticking to the bottle. I’ve always had much better luck with the plastic liquids bottles over the glass liquids bottles. Highly recommend for moms wanting a quick but lasting manicure (I did mine in 30 ish minutes while sitting on the couch), beginners, and even as a gift! Super great price for a good product!

If you’re looking for long term wear, look somewhere else. I like that you don’t have to soak of if wore for a few days. This is how long mine lasted before cracking up. From there, it starts to snag hair, clothes, etc. to the point where you are working it off your nail. 5 star cause I don’t like to soak and I like to change my nails often. 2 star for not lasting long no matter how thick or thin you make them
