1. My Pool Contractor was Horrible. 2. I'm learning and fixing it slowly. 3. This Union Connector fit our SmartMax VS 193E Century Pump 2.7HP perfectly. This is not CPVC as the original but I used CPVC Glue anyway. I think it's a better compound than PVC Glue. I made a template of the correct distances from pump to filter (the contractor only had 1/4" bite on the connections) so it blew apart after cycling up and down the last year. I cut the 2" Sch 40 PVC to the "correct" length, glued them in, waited an hour and pool lubed the connections, hand tightened, and it's perfect. The attached picture is of my horrible set up. I can't get to the drain plug on my filter housing.

Can not trust these as the only thing that will be holding the fitting to you pool plumbing will be gobs of PVC glue as the ID of fitting is NOT standard schedule 40 PVC, the ID is too big by 10 or 15 thousand of an inch. That makes the inside diameter a loose sloppy fit.

They worked good

Works perfect for the Hayward 2" PVC pipe fittings.

This union fit too loose on 2" PVC pipe. So much that I can freely spin it.
