Zipper poor quality
Having been an avid long-term Prime member and having had tremendous faith, trust and even satisfaction in services & brands of Amazon as well as the seller Cloudtail, this time I've had my shockingly worst experience so far with both.We were scheduled to visit a predictably chilly hill station in November so i was naturally concerned about keeping my 5 year-old daughter warm there. Firstly I fully trusted the product for being an Amazon brand. And it looked very sober with nothing jazzy or flashy, just the way I like it. Had thoughtfully picked child's favourite colour pink. When we received it, we were all excited to check it out. Looked good but the size chosen (5-6 years) was too tight even though my kid is perfectly average in size for her age as per doctors norms too. Quickly requested return. There should've been an exchange option which I couldn't find. So had to wait till the product was picked the next day after which waited again for the money to get loaded into Amazon Pay Balance. Luckily no questions asked by the pickup Agent which is indeed a nice thing.The second one I booked was size 6-7 age. This time I felt really assured that all would be well. We were surprised that it was again just as tight as the previous one. Further shocked to discover that the tagged label hanging on it read Size 6-7 Age and the label inside the jacket read as 5-6 Age. Had to go through the whole return and rebook process again.Now the pink one was not available and time was running short. Parents would know that sometimes kids want exactly what they want. We convinced our child to settle for another colour and booked a turquoise one. It was indeed very cold at the hill station and my child proudly wore her brand new jacket on the first day. Second day the zipper parted away from the bottom after it had been zipped to the neck. As we tried to lower the zipper lever, it got stuck at the parted point and refused to go either up or down from there. Eventually the whole zip for damaged. My child suffered in the cold weather with only one other sweater since I trusted a seemingly good brand won't let us down. By the time we returned home it was past the 10-day return policy. Despite that all my efforts trying to contact Amazon customer service to inform of the unpleasant incident and any chance of them considering a replacement, all efforts went vain as they blocked any calls for return of this product just because the return policy time has lapsed. Obviously I feel terribly cheated with this particular product. Lost the money over Rupees one thousand. More so it hurt to see my child's sad face in the chilly weather.
