Snug~Rug ADULT LITE POLAR Fleece Blanket with Sleeves, Cream

Ordered one of these as with it being so cold (fed up with trying to keep warm whilst on my laptop in bed or just reading in the evenings). Finding it too warm and bulky to wear a dressing gown in bed this seemed to be the solution. Our house is a very old and draughty one, even with the central heating on and a roaring fire it still feels chilly at times, so this snug rug solves that chilly feeling.It works a treat, told my husband I had ordered one (he laughed, and had visions of a big sleeping bag with me falling over, well at least the thought amused him). When I told him that the heating could be turned down a few degrees when this is worn, he listened and didn't laugh.It arrived in a plastic carry pack so can be stored when not using it or for when travelling (just the thing you need if you get caught out in the snow in your car at least you could stay warm and as snug as a bug in a snug rug).You really do get lots of material for the money, I am 5ft 2 and it is long on me, but when husband said I might fall over in it, I pointed out to him that it is not for walking about in. But for sitting down when wearing, either on the sofa or beanbag in front of the fire for a really snug way to watch the tv (well that's what I will be doing with mine). Yes, drinks can still be had and food eaten and you can still use your hands.I must point out that there is no back as such (think hospital gowns) but then again when wearing clothes it doesn't matter, at least no bulky material behind your back to get rucked up.There are no fibres that get stuck to your clothes, on some of the cheaper versions this seems to be a problem (I tried mine out wearing a pale sugary pink sweater, my snug rug being a chocolate brown and not a fibre in sight).A lot better than wearing your dressing gown over your clothes to keep warm and having to answer the door in the day.The arms are nice and long (wide too) so if you suffer from arthritis (I have bouts of carpal tunnel come back every now and again from over doing things) this keeps them nice and warm, especially so when reading.At the moment I am using the laptop in the bedroom wearing this, and can say I feel lovely and snug, and no cold feet.A great and modern invention of the blankets that grannies had over their knees, this one keeps more than just the knees warm.A great idea for Mother's Day.

After delay in receiving this item due to incompetence at the Royal Mail have used this item and am totally satisfied with it.Hopefully will give it more use as the weather becomes colder and can save on the heating bills.It is very soft and wraps round you to give an overall snug and warm feeling.Have also purchased another of this item in a different colour.Although the order stated the colours ordered I received a Pink instead of a Royal Blue but decided to keep the item after the fiasco of the delivery.Would certainly recommend to friends and family,in fact one of my friends has already purchased two of this item.

I bought this for my 85 year old mother who amongst other things suffers from bad circulation, end stage renal failure and is under 5' 2" tall.Although the item fulfils its basic purpose of providing an all-purpose wrap to keep people wqrm, it suffers from the following design defects:1) There is no loop so that it can easily be hung from a hook...so daily storage is a problem.2) If worn as recommended by inserting the arms through the sleeves, there is no way of securibg the garment at the back so that it slips off your shoulder if you get up to make a cup of tea etc.3) Its "one size fits all" design makes it a potential safety hazard. As I said my mother is only 5'2" tall. The garment is so long that that it provides a good 6" or so of cloth wrapped around her feet which could quite easily trip her up if she had to get up quickly in an emergency eg a fire.One size fits all makes for low manufacturing costs but exposes those whose physique is smaller than normal to greater risk of falls - the major cause of immobility nin the elderly.Not to be bought ubtil these points are rectified.

Blanket seems ok but the package (a plastic zip bag) looked like it was slit with a sharp object and the Zip was ripped and hanging off, this is a present so I’m not impressed

I had this for one of my Christmas presents and would almost go as far as to say its the best present I got. Our house is old and draughty and even with the fire going in the living room it can still be quite chilly. This is brill, you sort of wear it like a backwards coat and wrap the rest of the blanket around you, there is even a handy pocket. You have large arm holes so you can still use a laptop, the phone play on a game comsole etc without getting cold having to take your arms out of the warm. The blanket itself is huge and made of fairly thick soft fleece. It can be used at home, out camping (handy for me as we go camping quite a bit in the summer) in the car or travelling anywhere. Cannot recommend this enough for any of you chilly mortals out there like me!

Present for my wife. Be aware, this product is very pink indeed. We refer to it as the candy fleece since it resembles pink candy floss in so many ways. I've promised to dye it burgundy or black to make it more acceptable but my wife and daughter still use it despite the colour.Functionally I can't fault it.

This Snug Rug is superb - so my wife says! Cheaper versions of sleeved blankets available from various catalogues are made from quite thin material but this blanket is made from a thicker, better quality fleece. My wife feels the cold and she says this blanket is very snug indeed. The Snug Rug arrived just two days after placing the order and my wife was so pleased with it that we ordered another the following day. Snug Rug is available in several colours and we chose cream and blue.I would thoroughly recommend this sleeved blanket to those who feel the cold. The extra few pounds are worth paying as the Snug Rug is better quality than the cheaper versions around. If my wife says she feels warm then the Snug Rug has to be good!
