This is a brush for dentures (false teeth). It's way too hard to safely use it on real teeth. I bought it to clean hard to reach places on tools. It's a trick I learned while working in a pharmacy. We used denture brushes to scrub labels off bottles. For that, it's a good product. The plastic handle is a bit on the skinny side and can snap under pressure.I'm not a dentist nor do I have any training in that field. While the American Dental Association does not specifically state that you cannot use a hard brush they do say that a soft one is safer for your gums. If you want to be certain, take one of these to your dentist and get a reaction.

I usually use firm toothbrushes. These were so hard, they have no give whatsoever. I was afraid I would cause abrasions to my mouth when I tried to use. Also their finish was poor with a sharp cut off end of the toothbrush. I threw all of mine away.

These toothbrushes are very durable and have the type of bristles I need to brush my teeth properly. The only qualms I have with them, and I've noticed this with different brands of toothbrushes that I've bought be it here or in a store, is that the handle eventually snaps and then that's it for me. I don't get my full bang for the buck when doing that so I have to use another one. Apart from that though, the toothbrushes absolutely accomplish everything I'm looking for and have my teeth feeling nice and clean after I use them.

Super hard bristles. Will have to break it in a bit to soften them a little. But this is what I wanted. Perfect!I do not smoke. I bought these on Amazon because every store in our city now sells weak, soft toothbrushes. Many are labeled as hard, but they are not. They do not clean plaque... wellI drink Raw Apple Cider Vinegar sometimes, and clean my own teeth with a dentist's device. A strong toothbrush is also needed.UPDATE to review - Nov 3, 2019; been using the toothbrush for a while; it has 'broken in' perfectly! Still strong, is not too stiff. Cleans around far back molars too.UPDATE Dec 9, 2019; toothbrush handle broke in 2 places. Almost hit, chip my tooth and eye. Weak plastic. Made in China.

Toughens the gums and actually cleans the teeth. I don't understand why toothbrushes are designed so soft.All toothbrushes should be like this. Last time I went to the dentist they said whatever your doing keep doing. I've been using these brushes for a few years now.
